Service especially slow. Server ignored us , walked by several times and didn’t refill drinks. Appetizer came after we were done eating our meal. Extra charge for a side of ranch.

This is a nice atmosphere. I like that you can either dine al fresco or inside. The private dining room is beautiful. The service was great. The underground and parking & stairwell situation seems unsafe and poorly lit. I would visit again, however I will not be parking in the garage again.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie burger option, a few salad options, some of the dishes can be customized to your dietary needs.

Went to brunch today. We were sat immediately and server was very prompt to get to our table. My 2 star is for my omelette. It was completely brown on the outside. I took 2 bites and just couldn’t eat it. I sat it to the edge of the table. The server came by and asked if I wanted a box. Never asked if something was wrong etc. I paid $17.50 for an over cooked (over priced) omelette. Servers if customers don’t eat any of their entree please ask why…were they full, didn’t like it etc

The restaurant had a friendly staff and the atmosphere was nice. My son had the Strawberries & Cream French Toast with bacon on the side and he loved it! I had the Butter Basted Grilled Salmon and it was delicious! Loved the spinach and salmon the most, they were cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the Vanilla Caramel Cake for dessert! Definitely will come back to try more of their meals!

Village Grill remodeled and it's much brighter and cleaner - looks much better! Their staff is friendly and attentive. We had a party of four that met for brunch and our food was not good, unfortunately. The grits were the most bland thing I've ever tasted. The chicken and waffles seemed like they were frozen and nothing made fresh. Also, one of us ordered just egg whites, avocado, and turkey bacon and we were told they “just couldn't do that.” Seems like everything is premixed or frozen - nothing fresh. They are in a great location in Lafayette Village. I hope they improve. All the other facilities are great.

Went to Village Grill to celebrate my dad's birthday. His steak was undercooked. Any order that was fried (appetizer, waffle fries) was overcooked almost burnt. Fries had no flavor to them as advertised. Food was okay at the best. Serves was good. For the price, the quality of the food was subpar. The menu was also limited. They need to have a chef who can oversee the quality of the food, if they are going to charge what they are charging.

I went on a Saturday for brunch. At my arrival, 1pm the parking lot for this group of businesses was full. Many people were outside on the nearby business's patios enjoying the day. The vibe was good. I was with a large group (approximately 20) and we only had 1 waitress. We scheduled the private room well in advanced for 30 people. ?. I ordered ice tea and a shrimp and grits. The food was just okay. It was a little salty. I don't think the cook considered how much salt was in the sausage before adding additional salt to the meal. Was it soooo bad I had to send it back. No. Did I only eat a little then took it home to "fix" it? Yes. Another diner with the shrimp and grits also agreed it was salty. The vibe was good though and the waitress was very pleasant and did the best she could with our group so I would probably return to give them another go. When I left around 3pm there were many open spots in the parking lot, ( FYI).Spent about $30

The new management is wonderful! The food is delicious! The wait staff is great! Great atmosphere and people! We love this restaurant and go often! Used the event room there for a couples shower and was perfect in every way!

5 stars! Both the service and the food were amazing. We interacted with our server and I believe the manager and both ladies were going above and beyond. Honestly even if the food was just mediocre (which it was wasn’t of course) we would return just for the great service.My husband and I ordered the ‘Nachos’, Pub Burger, crab cakes and finished out with probably the best apple pie I’ve ever had.Can’t wait to come back!

This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Disclaimer-I’m a restaurant owner myself and am often very generous with my feedback but this was ludicrous.This is going to be long mostly because it’s intended for the owners to read so they’re aware of how poor staff is.We order an app two entrees and drinks.I had to ask the server twice for a straw, she kept forgetting.After 26 minutes pass our entree’s arrive but we had never received our appetizer.When we asked her about it she says she forgot and asks if we still want it.Really? It goes from bad to worse.After all this time our entrees are barely Luke warm. We ordered the “adult grilled cheese”And the slices of cheese were fully in tact.We tell the server about it and she looks annoyed, but says that she’s going to talk to the manager. Comes grabs our plates and says she’s going to have them heat it up.10 minutes later we get the grilled cheeses back but still no sign of the appetizer.At this point we’re pissed but accepted that our server was either new, overwhelmed or just terrible at her job.I ask her for napkins and she forgets, so I ask again and she walks by and tosses them on my dirty napkins without a word.Now we’re infuriated.App comes and the chicken is still ice cold inside. We’re done at this point and just want to leave but couldn’t because the server is ignoring us at this point.We waived down who we thought was the manager and politely asked for the check.After 5 minutes she drops it off never saying a word about anything regarding the cold entrees, the long wait, the app that came 45 minutes late.We knew because of the lack of professionalism that the app was going to still be on the bill, we didn’t complain we simply paid it and after having paid I decided I just couldn’t leave without talking to the manager. I explained her to step by step exactly what happened. She apologized but could tell she could care less. Her lack of actions proved that theory.Moral to the story is we paid money to sit in a restaurant and eat cold food, had repeat everything twice and get ignored.I still cannot believe that rather then stopping by our table to check in or apology or even offer to comp to he app instead the manager was wrapping silverware and sweeping the floor. By far the worst dining experience of my life run don’t walk away from here!
