Great experience at Visionworks. This was my second year of doing annual eye exams with them. Service is exceptional. The selection of frames is noteworthy for their display by frame shapes and clear pricing. Visionworks makes the eye care experience a hassle-free pleasure.

I went to Visionworks on Poyner Anchor for my annual vision exam. They were a "Premier" facility through VSP.Upon scheduling via telephone, there wasn't a person to speak to and I made my appointment through a telephone prompt. I was called a couple of days later by a Visionworks rep to confirm my insurance and the appointment.Upon entering the facility, I notice there is no waiting area to wait for your appointment. After a couple of minutes I was taken back by a technician. This technician proceeded to conduct several tests incorrectly. A second technician then came in and it was apparent that this was a new, inexperienced technician that I was working with. None of the tests were explained tome and the second technician was rude and very short throughout the exam. After several tests, I was asked to sign a HIPAA form as well as a second form acknowledging that this was a "tele-health" visit as no doctor is onsite. This telehealth visit was never disclosed and they indicated that I should have been informed.I ended the visit, gave some feedback to the general manager and left the facility. The general manager did not seem apologetic nor did he seem to know what was going on. He said he would look into the matter.First, I am disappointed that this is a "premier" (recommended) facility for VSP. Second, while I fully understand that a new technician needs training, this should be supervised training and should not be at the expense of the patient, Third, if the visit is intended to be a telehealth visit, this should be clearly explained to the patient. I fully support telehealth, but want to make the decision myself.I do not recommend this facility or its staff.

I had a great experience at visionworks. The staff; Travis, Vonjae & Janine were friendly, professional, and accommodating. The eye exam was thorough, and the optometrist and staff took their time to explain everything clearly and efficiently.They had a wide selection of eyeglasses, and the staff helped me find the perfect frames.The whole process was personalized & very thorough! I have a astigmatism and it has been difficult finding a pair of contacts that feel comfortable, that I can actually wear all day. I left with a great pair of frames as well as comfortable, properly fitting contacts.I highly recommend visionworks for their excellent customer service, knowledgeability, attentiveness and quality eye care!

I had an eye exam here and got two new pairs of glasses, and was incredibly pleased with my options and the service!However, upon leaving my appointment, I realized that my right lens on my current pair of glasses had been deeply scratched, so much that I couldn’t see. They had my glasses for several minutes, mostly trying to get my prescription off of them. Something happened to them during that time. Accidents happen, but I’m now unable to see and haven’t been driving, etc for the last several days and seemingly will be until the week or so when my glasses come in. I called the store to explain the situation and was only told that the machine is “scratch-resistant”. We’ll, my glasses weren’t scratched when I handed them over and were scratched after! I asked them to expedite my delivery so that I am not going several more days with headaches and unable to see, but it still shows the expected delivery date for two weeks after the order was placed. I’d also have expected some sort of more sincere apology and make a partial refund or some store credit, but was all but dismissed when I called.I would be more than happy to update this review if this gets addressed satisfactorily, because I really did have a great experience and would like to go back!

Honestly I Wouldn’t give this place 1 star. They’re messy and money hungry. I had a pair of trial contacts and I was told at the appointment that if I had any problems with them I could just come back and they’ll correct them. I was told that I didn’t have to pay anything to come back and get my trial pair of contacts corrected. When I called back to schedule an appointment someone else told me I had to pay in order to get my trial pair of contacts corrected. I explained to the person that I was previously told that I didn’t have to pay anything, but he just kept saying I did. Nothing was resolved. I wouldn’t step one foot back into this place and I advise everyone else not to as well. They’re money hungry and just tries to take advantage of their clients.

Visionworks in Raleigh is one of the best places to get an exam and purchase glasses!!! Vonjay, Janine and Travis took amazing care of me and gave great service!!! I’ve been telling everyone to go there!!!???

No body pick up the phone. After one month still it showing pending online. Unable to contact store people.Very unprofessional. Do not recommend this shop at all. Horrible customer service.This was my previous experience and I reviewed as 1 star.The store manager Travis's amazing customer service bring me here again to change my review. For the lateness of my glasses he offers me a complete pair of glasses for free. I am impressed with his customer service.

Great service!! The manager Travis was able to help me find two pairs of glasses and explained to me how my insurance works! The lady in the back who did all the testing explained to me how everything works! I am very satisfied and will definitely come back!!

I NEVER wanted to leave a review like this but enough is enough. I have Had a horrible experience with the manager Travis. He is deceptive and I feel like I am being treated poorly because of my race. Over 3 weeks ago when I went into the location to pick up glasses for my daughter and myself he wasn’t as welcoming as the other workers and treated me like I was a bother. Eventually when we sat down to place my order he lightened up. He kept saying your glass are going to come with XYZ and your out of pocket cost is xxx. I have Insurance and thought “man my insurance is horrible”, I even said it to him. He laughed it off and gave me my receipt. When I went home the NEXT DAY I called back and realized he added so many things on that my insurance didn’t cover but used word play to make me think it was included. My insurance actually covered EVERYTHING ?(I’ve worked in sales I should have known better) I told him I wanted to take the add ons OFF. He got defensive and acted as though it annoyed him to change the order, he told me I would have to wait until my glasses came in and then ship them back. I told Him I wanted to cancel, and he quickly said he could change the order because the glasses haven’t been made yet. Every time I call I’m told a new reason why my glasses aren’t in and today June 1st I was told by Sam another worker my glasses are delayed in a lab and they do not have a date when they will arrive to the store. I am honestly hurt and annoyed by the treatment I’ve received here. I will Not recommended this location to anyone. I’m not sure if the workers receive commission for up selling but please check your receipts and be sure to ask what is mandatory and what is being added on.

I went for contacts and was given the right prescription but needed to go back to see an in person doctor. After trying multiple times to make this appointment and locking in 2 separate appointments I was not getting anywhere with this company and already paid for my contacts which means I was dealing with this issue for 3 months down 400.00 and still could not use my contacts. The only reason I'm giving this 2 rather than 1 stars is due to the fact that atleast I was acknowledged about this through management and was given a proper refund which I do appreciate.
