Pharmacy is either understaffed for the amount of business, or incompetent. Also, the phone system calls you when prescription is not actually ready, or won't call you at all. I've wasted so many trips to this place. On hold for 23 minutes today trying to find out status and finally gave up. Have gone by store 2 times, 12:30 and 3:45 and still not ready. Prescription called in prior to 9am this morning.

Warning -- anyone interested in keeping their prescription treatments on schedule should particularly avoid this store's advertised home delivery service. My saga begins last Wednesday evening. After my online refill order was confirmed and flagged 'Ready for FedEx' and my checking acct was debited, the pharmacy troupe at this location not only dropped the ball, they wailed on the ball with a hatchet and then set it on fire. For sure, not receiving a confy email from WG or from FedEx by COB the next day should have gotten me on the phone right away but I held out hope until last Friday morning (my bad) when I discovered all traces of the transaction were expunged from my online acct.The live person I finally reached on the store's telephone last Friday afternoon seemed vexed that I was asking a licensed pharmacy to track down a bottle of drugs it purported to have dispensed. After putting me on hold a couple times, she came back on the line to report that my prescription "had to be filled" but probably was not given to FedEx. She provided no explanations as to, how that happened, where the pills actually were at the time we were speaking and why no one from the troupe notified me of their ball drop within the almost 48 hours they had ample opportunity to do so. Given the complete lack of concern from the employee and the pharmacist in the background -- whose only contribution was to grunt that their charge "should have dropped off (my checking acct) by now" -- I was hardly shocked that no measure of regret was expressed and that not even a rote apology was offered.Looking forward to submitting full details and screengrabs to NC Board Of Pharmacy sometime next week as the attitude of these folks makes me think that this sort of "ugh, now where did them pills git to?" farce could well be a not uncommon occurrence at this store. Fortunately, I was able to easily salvage my situation but what if I was someone's grandma or anyone with a very serious medical condition and the drugs that this store's pharmacy troupe couldn't keep track of were life-sustaining drugs? Maybe these days subpar customer care from a pharmacy can be overlooked if its staff carries out the dispensing job within even minimal professional requirements. However, subpar processing of prescriptions and inadequate recordkeeping are not risks to which any store should ever have the right to subject its pharmacy customers.

This is our local Walgreens. We come here for our prescriptions as there's usually never a wait. The staff is always helpful and polite. We came here to get our covid booster shots and were served right away. Everything was stocked even though it was the time for them to actually stock materials, it was still organized. I would recommend this store any day.

This pharmacy seems to do everything possible to avoid selling prescriptions. The counter wait times are very long. Refill requests via the app or text get ignored. If you fill out all the paperwork for a flu shot and check in online they won't have the information so you will have to re enter it all with pen and paper when you get there.

Typically friendly staff at this location but recently went in to have a passport photo taken and an employee in the photo department was rude and dismissive and refused to take my picture because my shirt had white in it. I realize the background is white but the white in my shirt was not even the dominant color, just a stripe throughout. For the future, for your employees to know, there are no requirements by the US government as to what color you can wear in your passport picture as long as it is not a uniform. It felt like she just didn't want to take the picture because there was also a line at the check out register where she apparently was also working. I would recommend getting your passport picture somewhere else as this Walgreens seems to be SUPER particular about your wardrobe. In addition, I hope to see the friendly staff return soon. And finally, I must include in this review five stars for the top notch staff in the pharmacy. There has recently been some change of faces in this department but everyone is always helpful and friendly.

On 1/25/22, the day before my knee surgery my doctor sent 3 prescriptions to Walgreen(one was hydrocodone). This was sent the day prior, so I would have the meds I needed after surgery. So I was still heavily sedated from general anesthesia, so it didn't come to me until I started hurting so bad the night of surgery. I was missing the pain meds. Around 6am I looked over my discharge paperwork I realized I could take some Ibuprofen or Naproxen. So I was able to get some relief. The day after surgery I call Walgreen pharmacist about the problem and their response was they never received the prescription. So they told me to call my doctor to resend. The doctor confirmed they sent 3 prescriptions prior to surgery. They agreed to resend. Within 30 mins I got a text my doctor submitted. I tried calling Walgreen regards meds and it took me close to an hour to get through. Once I got through to speak to the Pharmacist he sounded like it was "no big deal". This was so upsetting how I suffered on my first night after surgery that was so unavoidable. Please get your staff to do better with filling a persons script because this is needed for emergency medical purposes.

Requested a prescription refill for my dog online and got a text that said they were contacting the prescriber...2 whole additional days passed...nothing. I finally called my vet and they said Walgreens never reached out. I go to pick up prescription and do drive thru pickup on my lunch hour. There are only 3 cars in front of me. It took me 26 minutes which ate up my entire lunch break. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dana at the pharmacy was so great! I just moved here from NY and I hadn't been feeling well for few days. I needed to get a covid test and couldn't get an appointment anywhere. Dana worked with me so my son and I could get tested. She helped ease my mind knowing I will have an answer soon. Thank you Dana for being so kind.

I have a mother at a local independent care center who has been ill and I've spent a lot of time picking up prescriptions for her. Pharmacy staff is excellent and willing to always answer my questions and front counter people have been equally nice. Very well run store!!

You will find there great deal under the app RetailMeNot coupons best app in the world now you know my secret!! . They always has solid prices on Arizona Tea. As a couponer make sure you grab a coupon book when you walk in! Always get scribed to the email and get the membership because the points turn into free stuff. They have have great parking lot and they store is always clean and that's is always a plus for me. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Everything is easy to find so you can get in and get out.

Very convenient location to grab a snack on the way to work. Much faster checkout experience with courteous staff that ask me how i am doing and make me feel like a regular. Not something you get these days with everyone going through the motions. Highly recommended.
