I come to this Walgreens all the time and have always had great customer service. Tonight the girls closed the registers before their 10pm closing time and said we had 1 min. I brought my stuff up and I have to pick it up tomorrow. She closed the registers before 10pm so she could leave right at 10pm. I’ve worked in retail and that’s just not how you obtain great customer service.You close the registers at 10pm not before. I am very disappointed I now have to figure out a time in my schedule tomorrow to go back to Walgreens and pay for my items. This lady was more concerned about leaving than giving proper notices over the speakers starting at closing in 15 min and so on. This action can cause loss in revenue Walgreens. Train your staff properly to be kind to your customers. She wasn’t mean she just closed the registers before 10pm. I could hear it. I’m now at Food Lion to get as much of what I was going to purchase from Walgreens and I’ll carve out time in my day to pick up what I can’t get at Food Lion.

This pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service and it’s pathetic . The amount of times I call to sort out prescription issues and get hung up on after getting left on hold for 15 to 30 minutes is absurd.

I came in to fill a prescription. The general manager profiled me and then had another employee follow me around the store. I picked up a few items and proceeded to approach the register. The pharmacy tech was immediately rude to. Once she found my prescription you nonchalantly kept announcing my social security number aloud for anyone in ear shot to here. She handed me my prescription and continued to be rude to me. I paid for all of my items literally turned around to leave and another employee stood in front of my cart and asked me was a ready to pay without so much as greeting me after I had already paid. All the employees had no problem exercising unprofessionalism, rudeness, and down right discriminatory behavior. I will never go to another Walgreens again if I can help it. I know the location us convenient considering it is right across the street from a hospital but if at all possible avoid this location at all cost.

Pharmacy, front end, and other staff have always been great. I’ve filled my prescriptions, gotten immunizations, had photos printed, etc. here for the past several years and recommend them highly.
They’ve clearly been hit with the same staffing cuts that are affecting other corporate pharmacy chain stores, though, which is hard to see. Wish district and regional leadership cared more about us as patients and customers to staff appropriately.

I ordered online and had to pick up Monday. I forgot and called Monday and said I’d be there Wednesday. They said okay. I came Wednesday and the order is there and does have a note that says I’ll pick it up Wednesday. Cashier highly annoyed. You can tell she didn’t even want to work that day. All they could do is make me re purchase everything which all was previously paid for online. The service was awful. No wonder why they are at 2 stars. Only a matter of time before they shut down. You can’t get away with terrible service. Don’t hire people who don’t want to deal with people.

Pharmacy is a nightmare. Everyone has an attitude and they do not understand how basic math works. They will have you wait up to am hour and a half on the phone . Tell u they can have a prescription ready, but when u arrive refuse to give it to you , even if it is within the legal allowed dates . I've never NOT had an issue with this place. Avoid at all costs .

The staff members at Walgreens are always super helpful, I’m usually in and out of there fairly quickly with no issues!

The pharmacy never answers the phone!!! I have been waiting for someone to answer for over 20 minutes and then it disconnects me. This is every time I try to call about a prescription.

This drive up window is always closed because they are short staffed- this has happened the last three times I have come. Wait times are ridiculous and staff is rude and not helpful! Will never come back here!!

Probably the Worst Pharmacy on the planet although there are probably others that would give this place some competition. I was having an issue with a prescription refill, although everything is on file has not changed.... I tried calling 3 times and was on hold each time telling me there is one caller ahead of you. Then it finally continues, another 15 minutes goes by, automatically disconnects without anyone answering. I understand having to hold but simply not answering and disconnecting each time. If I could give you negative stars, I would, because you do not even deserve the required one. And you wonder why people become irritated upon showing up, it is because of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like many others, I encountered an issue picking up a prescription before my surgery here. Was told that I would need to get "prior authorization" from the doctor (that wrote my prescription) for my medication which would take longer than the time before the surgery. Fortunately, these reviews and a family member who encountered a similar issue at this location, led me to believe that this was either a Walgreens specific issue or simple incompetence and I was able to switch my prescription to the Harris Teeter pharmacy down the road.
No surprise (given the abundance of negative reviews here), but the Harris Teeter were able to fill the prescription immediately and without any hassle. Honestly shocking that the feedback for a location can remain so consistently negative (28 of the last 30 reviews are 2 stars or below) while still remaining in business but I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone on the fence about a pharmacy to not go to this one.

The pharmacy doesn’t seem to pick up the phone. I just got off a 10-min hold before I lost patience and hung up. This isn’t the first time this has happened.
