We switched to Walmart Pharmacy because Walgreens became so automated it seemed almost impossible to talk to a real person! The staff at this Walmart Pharmacy (on Newbern Ave) have been great. They really have it together. What prompted me to leave this review is Holly, one of the pharmacist :) It’s a Friday at 5:30 and they are crazy busy. Holly was still totally upbeat and helpful. She didn’t rush me or anything. I don’t see how she was so positive and cheerful with all that rushing, but she was!!

I don’t know the pharmacist name, but she knows mine. I think that says something when you care enough in your job to remember your customers name and give exceptional personal service.

Being an ex employee here I can tell you very few had good customer service. And yes this pharmacy is ran like “high school”. If I had known this I would have picked another pharmacy. I was blamed for the turmoil because I didn’t take the picking, bullying and talked about by the head technician. Being she was friends with the head pharmacy “ nothing was done”. The head pharmacy told the store manager she does not deal with her other than work and come the next day and ask her to come to her house in BRIER CREEK to swim. Other pharmacies heard the unprofessional remarks to me but did not come to my defense. Really the department need to be investigated to see if they are stealing merchandise. Why customers is saying they didn’t get there medicines or medicines missing and just being replaced. Then check on tills being missing and uncounted for. My husband saw a man breaking in people cars and reported it and was asked by assistant store manager “was he security and how he know the man didn’t give him keys” he showed the picture to the owner of the BMW and he was furious. The managers at this Walmart are cocky and feel like rules don’t apply to them. They talk to you as if you are uneducated. I asked for Walmart Policy Book and I was told”Just do what you suppose to do” First I was asked “What you talking about as if I was Stupid” But because I am educated I document everthing. So, if you are stupid, uneducated and have no self esteem this is the place for you. IF I could afford a lawyer I would make a lawsuit against Walmart. The Head Pharmacist allowed her Head Tech to bully me and make my work environment unbearable and the store managers stood behind her because as I was told “I was the new Kid” . I suggested do an Exit Interview snd they will see why the Pharmacy can’t keep a good employee. I proved the the Head Pharmacy to be unprofessional and a liar, but was told she was professional… I wasn’t going to get a fair shot and was extremely stressed out until I cried during our meetings because I loved my job. But I couldn’t take the high school admosphere.

Never have had to wait a long time or been told a prescription was ready when it was not. My visits have not been bad but perhaps I am the exception.

Oh my gosh, how many mistakes can one pharmacy make on 2 prescriptions? Their system will automatically replace their idea of a good substitute drug for yours, WITHOUT TELLING YOU! Wondering if this could be a state violation?

It really doesn’t get worse than this place. I don’t even want to think about the time I have wasted by being told a prescription is ready and then coming and all of a sudden it’s not. It has literally happened about 15 times. Today I finally had enough, complain to a manager and I’m told to download the Walmart app so I can be sure my prescription is ready before driving and standing in line. Basically “my employees can’t do their job correctly so download this to try and fix that.” Download it, and the prescription I need isn’t available on the app. How these people dress themselves is beyond me.

Well, they have a great selection, but long lines, and not helpful for OTC questions. If I have questions, or I'm in a hurry, I go across the street to CVS. The store however is pretty good, but there seem to be a lot of incidents here. It seems like there are very often fire and EMS, or police on scene. They used to be 24/7 but started closing at night due to theft. Also once, I had a seemingly nice guy walk me and my young baby out to my car in the rain with his umbrella once insisting on it and saying he was worried about us... it was quite nice, but then he asked for money. I gave him some because I really did appreciate the umbrella in the unexpected rain, but yeah. This sort of thing happens here a lot.

Worst, pharmacy, ever! They never, ever answer the phone. They never, ever have Rxs ready when they say they will. Avoid at all costs, visit your local drug lord first for better customer service!

They got my prescription wrong and would not exchange it. They stood there whispering to each other like I was a criminal trying to do something wrong.
