Best daycare hands down! All of my children have attended and learned so much. They have all be loved and spoiled by everyone there. Working in childcare can be difficult, but the ladies and staff there do an excellent job. Would recommend this place to any and everyone. ❤️

My son spent several years at Richfield Child Development. I am a single parent and this daycare was apart of the essential growth of my child. I met some really nice and kind staff during the process. However the constant staff turnover made it very difficult for my son to adjust at times. He would have meltdowns as he was often moved from room to room. The owner Kelley was very polite and always willing to speak to me. I did appreciate her kindness. My son struggled when he started Pre-K. He is extremely bright and I ended up meeting with two different teachers and assistants during August to December. I feel after many discussions that the Pre-K classrooms do not provide enough structure. The teachers are nice, but they don't have enough time to work one on one with the kids. I think they should have put more money into the teachers that they chose instead of that nice new building. The fact that I see a negative review of teachers yelling at my son Dylan bothers me. I pulled my son out of this Pre-K in before the holidays for a change. He has been doing wonderful at a new Pre-K and the staff at his new Pre-K are involved. I don't understand how teachers are not prepared to handle assisting a child to adjust to a classroom setting. It makes me think of how his years were prior at this daycare, but we all learn. I did not have any issues with any teachers it was a decision in the best interest of my son as I am his parent. I did experience some unprofessionalism with a few adults, but hopefully working with children they become more patience and understanding. It is not a job for the weak.

Ignore the negative reviews. The best daycare in my experience. My child is so loved and has been thriving since she started attending here and it shows. All smiles every drop off when she sees her teachers and has learned so much already. We absolutely adore this daycare and every single one of the wonderful teachers that work here. I was very nervous about sending my child to childcare so I could go back to work and they made sure my anxiety was at ease and gave me updates on my child the whole day.

The owner and her family have the best daycare/pre-k facility in the state of NC (minus them being Dook fans). But the teachers they have are essential to their success and we have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff. They love the kids, they teach and they build relationships. There aren’t too many places like this left in the world we live in!

My twin girls have been going to this facility for the last few months (they’re 8mo). I have nothing but positive things to say. They are very well taken care of and I am updated on everything they do throughout the day- diaper changes, meals, naps, etc. they also post pictures for me to see throughout the day. I can’t forget to mention the cute art work they have done with them, it’s absolutely adorable. They truly care about every child that comes through the door. One of my twins has a PT that comes weekly to work with her during the week, her teachers have also been working with her to help her improve her motor skills. I’m truly thankful to have a wonderful/caring staff taking care of my babies while I’m at work.

I have no words 4 this place. If I cld give them no stars, I wld. They only changed my ggs diaper when he was due 2 b picked up. His behind was sooooo raw, we had 2 take him 2 the Dr 2 x's. Against our better judgment, we took him back thinking, maybe he was teething & it's easy 2 miss the pooh. NOOOOOOOO, that was not the case, his behind was sooooo raw, it hurt him so bad when we had 2 change his diaper.NEVER EVER AGAIN.I'll just take another zanax & drink my zinfandel.

So far, my experience with this facility has NOT been a good one.1. The teacher asssigned to my neice is the oldest in the facility, she showed no interest in her job nor in meeting my neice. Every time that we have had an encounter with this lady, she is on her phone and does not pay attention to the children in her classroom.2. My neice is 1 out of 3 african american children in the facility. Out of about 100 children ages ranging from 4 weeks up to school-age children.3. We have witnessed the staff yell at the top of their lungs at the children. (Whoever has a child named Dillon there, they scream at him constantly.4. They indicate that they DO NOT provide transportation for PRE-K. However, I believe that they are state funded and required by law to provide transportation. They pick my neice up at the closest elementary school and drop her off at the closest elementary school.5. Speaking of transportation, they forgot my neice at the facility. How could you forget the only van rider from the facility? Who dropped the ball? I had to go to the facility and pick my neice up. Inconvenience6. Now on yesterday, September 22, my neice was sent home without shoes or socks and no jacket wearing shorts and tangtop! When we called, they indicated that she peed the bed while taking her nap. However, her blanket was dry. Something does not sound right. The state needs to come and investigate this facility as soon as possible Unprofessional!
