What can I say about this place? It’s another government-run tax machine that serves no real purpose. Liquor should be sold in private stores — as it is in many other states — not in government-owned outlets that regulate supply and make huge profits from overpriced products.
This is socialism operating inside a capitalist society, and it makes no sense at all. Why should the government own liquor stores when plenty of private businesses are capable of selling liquor just as they sell wine and beer? It’s simply another example of government stepping in where free enterprise should thrive.
I have nothing against the store or its employees — only the misguided idea behind the socialistic system itself.
