I went here for my AC. They misdiagnosed the issue even after three visits. They tell you to make an appointment, but you still wait for hours only to recieve a misdiagnosis. I went on vacation after they claimed it was fixed, and I was miserable with no air. Michael B. at the front desk said my air was blowing 42 degrees. He lied and was rude. He didn't even want to continue speaking with me and sent another employee to ring me out. They overcharged me and never fixed the problem. They are cheaters, liars, and theives. If I could give them a zero, I would.

Whoever that older white guy with glasses is very rude. He needs some re-training asap. I don’t know how he is in the front dealing with customers. Rude.

Why do I continuously torture myself going to Firestones? This is not just a single store issue, this is a company wide issue. Every Firestone I go to is terrible. I set up an appt at this Firestone in Roanoke Rapids at 10 am for a simple oil change and inspection. It's been almost 2 hours and my car still sits in the same spot. What's the point of making an appointment? Don't bother going here or any Firestone.

I had an appointment for 12noon but my car wasn’t pulled in for inspection of the lights until about 345pm. The wait time was extended and there were no places to sit at first because so many people were waiting. Didn’t complete the changing of a bulb until 430pm.

Experienced a flat tire on our car dolly yesterday on our way north. We were very fortunate to be near this location. Customer service was amazing and in no time we were on our way!!

Got here before 8am for our 8am appointment, was told it would take about an hour to put new tires on. our car didn't start getting worked on til 850am. More than 2 hours later, still waiting. They do not honor appointment times. They work on other peoples cars before ours even though we had an appointment. Front desk person is not even apologetic. They do not respect your time. If we had known it was going to take this long, we would have gone somewhere else, now we have to cancel a 10am appointment we have somewhere else because the employee lied and said we'd be done within an hour.
Update: upon check out more than 2 hours later, we asked why it took so long, the front desk lady made fun of the vehicle and said it was because our vehicle wasn't properly maintained...(It's our beater car we use for projects around the house) Even though they didn't touch it for almost an hour as we could see it sitting there in the parking lot and all the actual work took an hour to do...
When we told her we didn't appreciate her insulting our vehicle and making up reasons on why it was taking so long, she threatened to hold our keys and call the police. She then called 911 and lied and said we were trying to leave without paying and being aggressive, even though we tried multiple times to give her and other employees our credit card. When the police arrived, she somehow managed to finally do her job and check us out without issues. Firestone needs to review the camera footage to see she made up multiple lies to try and get us arrested, all because we wanted to know why they didn't honor our appointment time. Lying to the police is a serious matter and I hope she never does this again to another customer. It's actually psychotic behavior. I'm still in disbelief that this happened. It's preposterous that her approach to customer service is calling the police and lying to get customers arrested when they are simply trying to get questions answered. Is this the Firestone customer service SOP?
Instead of just saying "sorry for the wait, thanks for your patience." Like a normal person, she decided to say it's our fault we don't have a nice car and then call the cops on us.
Maybe emotionally unstable employees shouldn't be in customer facing positions if they are calling the cops whenever they have to address a customer's legitimate concerns and complaints.
I will be submitting a complaint to the BBB as well.
Update: took 20 days to receive a refund check. The first check had my name wrong so I couldn't deposit it and the area manager couldn't even spell "Roanoke" correctly. Never received an actual apology. The area manager apologized for the wait but never apologized for the employee calling the police which is the crux of the matter.

Service was polite and timely. Made an 11:30 appointment and my vehicle was in the bay at 11:37. Time to complete the repair was appropriate.

As other customer reviews have stated, these people will extended your wait time if you question why your appointment time was not honored..
They literally did not touch my car for over an hour.
During check out, i simply asked why did it take so long for them to get to my vehicle. I was met with insults about my vehicle from the woman at the front desk, didn't catch her name. Since im a normal person, i got frustrated with her insult so i responded with the same tone she gave me. So she went and called the police and told the police i was attacking her . She refused to let me pay, she was effectively holding me hostage due situation that she escalated herself. The police rolled up and realized she was full of it and they were quickly annoyed as she was wasting their time. They made her check me out, so i could finally leave and end this absolutely ridiculous situation caused by the front desk woman.
All she had to say was "sorry about the wait" . Thats it…
Forgot to add earlier: these folks did not properly close the engine hood, had I not noticed before getting on the highway, the hood would have came up resulting in an incredibly dangerous situation. This also felt retaliatory based on the employees behavior earlier
