My daughter was getting a phone from boost mobile, and I was bored so I walked down to this place and boy am I glad. A lady had just walked out and had short hair like mine, so I went in and got a nice little shape up. I've got alopecia and usually wear a scarf or hat, but now my hair looks great. I'll be back in a few weeks, I felt at home there. I told Vanessa, she got a new customer!!!

I went to this shop as a walk-in from out of town, not knowing what to expect. Vanessa and JD was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the conversation, the vibe and the they way Vanessa cut my hair. I will be going back to this location. They also recommended a hairstylist for me and called her while I was there to do an introduction:-).

This shop doesn't deserve a rating of a one, let alone any rating. As an active duty, female service member visiting my elderly parents, I stopped by my former hometown barber shop to get my son's hair cut before school starts on Monday. The gentleman (1st chair) told us that 4 other individuals were in front of us to get their hair cut but we would be serviced next. After all 4 people were serviced, the 1st chair barber told both the 2nd and 3rd chair barbers that I was next/ here first. The 1st chair told the 2nd chair barber to let the 3rd chair (a female) know that I was next, and he refused to tell her we were next. It was a definite indicator that she was difficult to work with and uncouth. The female barber rudely said that she did not care and that the boy that came in after us was going to be her last cut and she insistently repeated the loud, aggressive, rude remarks. The 1st chair barber apologized and I responded that customer service is definitely lacking, with a look of dismay. My oldest son was perplexed with her attitude. I told him some people are just rude and disrespectful. It is very difficult to patron your hometown black owned business. Although, the 1st and 2nd chair barbers were cordial and polite, the female barber was a turn off and definitely needs a crash course in professionalism and manners. Pictures are worth a thousand words...her picture matches her attitude. Select other deserving black owned barbershops in the area. Best of luck to the gentlemen!
