About Rockingham Speedway
Rockingham Speedway is a historic racing venue with a rich history dating back to the 1980s and 90s when it was a regular part of the NASCAR schedule. Despite not being used consistently for over 20 years, the track remains in good condition and occasionally hosts modified car events. It is a place filled with memories for racing fans, and visitors suggest it is worth a quick visit for a nostalgic experience. The speedway also offers impressive attractions like a Christmas lights display, which features well-done displays and the unique opportunity to see your vehicle on the racetrack. However, some facilities, such as bathrooms and the finish line light barrier, are not up to date. There is hope that NASCAR and motorsports will return to the track, as it is seen as a sleeping giant ready to come back to life. Overall, Rockingham Speedway is a great venue with a passionate community eager for its resurgence.
Our day at the Rock was fantastic from the time we got there to the time we left. I would like to see more souvenir vendors but like I said our day was fun and very enjoyable will definitely be going back

Still needs some bathroom upgrades. The racing hopefully will get better as the track ages. Absolutely hate the no out side beer. That will keep me away

I grew up close to this track and its very special to our entire family. The track looked amazing, the event itself was great, but the communication with the track and sales prior to our visit was an epic fail. I have confidence it will improve and we'll continue to show up.
