They are very nice, however the repair was done incorrectly and we found extra bolts they forgot to put back in the door. I have to bring the car back to have them fix it.

This was the nicest service manager experience that I have ever had since coming to the dealership. They made me feel appreciated and valued. I have never felt that way before and was contemplating not even doing business with the dealership because of the poor customer service. The new faces sold me on the company and I will continue to do business with Davenport. Great new team.

Very considerate of the customer. They personally offered to deliver my truck to my own home from Davenport, NC to Hampton, VA. That's a drive I wasn't sure I could afford, being self-employed with my own business and having to manage a crew each day of the week, but they gladly offered to drive over 4 hours to get my truck safely to me. I appreciate the effort they have for their customers. Not many businesses would do this. I would highly recommend Davenport Buick-GMC to anyone.

Service department is terrible. I took my car in several times and they never fixed the issues. I even had them look at tire because I kept getting a low tire pressure light on. Service called and said they patched my tire, but Onstar sent me an email that my tire was still low. Once I told the service department about what Onstar emailed me about they quickly changed their tune. I even reached out to Neill with a list of what was “done” to my car over a six month span and never received a response or a phone call from him. I even had an employee tell me I was getting the run around so I couldn’t turn in my car as a lemon. I only deal with Medlin GMC now in Wilson. They at least do what they say they are going to do.

I cannot even remember how many cars I have purchase from Davenport. Been buying from them since 1980s. They are always great to deal with. Fair and Honest. and I get a great car. New or used, I have always been more than satisfied with the outcome. My latest purchase is a Yukon Denali. Had a leaking headlight. They came an picked it up, took back and fixed, and then return to my home. Should mention that I live 2 hours from Rocky Mount. They didn't bat an eye. It was just taken care ofLove the car, love dealing with Graham, Neill, and of course Joe. They are the best, and would recommend to anyone to check them out when looking for a car or for service. I would give them 10 starts if it was an option.Chuck Beattie

I took my car in for service check engine light was on and wngine hot ac off was displaying I explain to them what was going on they repaired it saying couldn't get the code again two weeks later I get the same reading take ut back in they keep it for 4 days I called and called finally I calked got the manager thats when he tells me I got a.head gasket problem so why wasn't this picked up then now my heat not working in car the car is still there they tell me they dint have tools to fix it they are a general motors certified im just lost for words update to the post its June 18th 2023 my car was damaged doung repairs 1700 dollars damage to body find out when they replaced engine inexpensive the cracked my ac line so the mechanic want admit it they did repair the body work so they never gave me an estimate in writing for putting engine in even though I asked several times it wasn't done so there service manager sits me in the office and tells me it ms 6000 dollars from original price of 3500 minus what I paid them when they misdiagnosed my car in February I have been with iut my car for 4 months all I get is lies and broken promises so now they call my husband and tell him if he get me to take down reviews and pay them 1900 dollars we good but what about there lying mechanics that don't know how to diagnose a car problem that I believe they created i paid for the engine at the end of day I feel that someone needs to clean that service department and get some real honest people that can admit a mistake kudos to Matt service advisor always been honest but his boss mat is terrible this has no reflection on sales department have purchased several cars and trucks from them sometimes businesses ne to look at the whole team im a very disappointed customer and I will spread the word on this matter

after being screwed with repairs and posting on there face book page on how I was treated as a black senior citizen they blocked me on there social media because I explain how they messed my car up and continued lying to me im out 6000 dollars and had to take my car somewhere else to be repaired then graham Nelson says take my business somewhere else they have the most racist people that work in there service department they trrated me very unfairly and act if im ignorant but god will handle this battle they mad cause ive given them bsd reviews but in the end people always show what they reall about

My truck broke down 5 hours from home and 10 hours from my destination due to gasoline in my diesel engine. I was stressed and panicked trying to find someone to fix my truck while also trying to figure out where to stay with my two dogs. When I called Davenport GMC, they immediately got to work helping me out and reassured me that they could get someone in to fix the truck first thing the next morning. They also pointed me to the dog-friendly hotel next door, which was above and beyond what I had called in for.The next morning they called me back to check up on me and make sure I had made it to the dealership alright, and got to work on my truck. When I had to check out of the hotel, they let me stay in the lobby with my dogs since I had nowhere else to go. We still had a couple hours to wait and my 1.5yr German Shepherd was getting bored, and once again the GMC staff came to my rescue and helped entertain my dogs for a while. I am beyond grateful for the care and compassion they showed me during such a stressful time, and I would highly recommend Davenport GMC to anyone who asks. You have a great staff, and I’d like to specifically thank Chris and Craig who personally checked on me and helped me.

The professional courtesy of Mr. Roy Edward in showing available vehicles, the features and gracious explanations during test drives were enlivening. I began looking for our new truck over two months ago. We had a 2011 Chevy Silverado and wanted to upgrade to a newer year with less miles. I looked at a lot of different trucks online and at dealerships and was getting a little frustrated until my wife and I stopped by DavenPort Auto in Rocky Mount North Carolina.We never even considered a GMC, so we stopped to take a look. From the moment we arrived we were treated with respect and courtesy. Elgin, our salesman greeted us at the door and truly listened to what we were looking for. He showed us a 2019 GMC Sierra SLT that was absolutely amazing but a little out of our budget.He showed us other trucks that they had and all would have fit the bill. We tow a 28foot camper and kept looking at all of the advanced towing features the 2019 had. It just had everything we would need to make our adventures safer and easier for us.Elgin working with their sales manager Matt, worked their magic and came up with not only a fair price for their truck, but a more than expected trade-in for our truck. Our new truck even comes with a life-time limited engine warranty.I am so glad that we found Davenport Auto. A great experience start to finish with and exceptional sales team. Many people are resorting to internet sales to buy a car. To me the importance of a relationship with the dealership team is so important when it comes time to service after the sale.Thanks again to Elgin and Matt

It was truly a GREAT experience. I will only buy from Davenport! Mr. BEN SILVER....PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU SEE HIM. HE WILL GET THE JOB DONE... I cannot say enough about my experience there. Management was great to work with, and Elizabeth in Finance was so pleasant and thorough.

Dishonest. Unresponsive. Davenport GMC advertises vehicles that they actuality do not have available for sale….very dishonest practice and it was a waste of time contacting them. Don't waste your time with Davenport GMC. After posting this the owner reached out and posted that they were sorry for the issue and someone would follow-up. No one followed-up. More unresponsive and dishonest behavior. Buy elsewhere!
