Dollar general is a good clean place to come and shop

Let me preface this by saying it’s not about the money. I had bought some packaged sweets and some glasses from the store around 2 PM. I come home went to put the glasses on and they broke immediately. I opened up some of my sweets and about chipped the tooth they were so stale. Sorry on 5 o’clock. I went back up there to replace the glasses and exchange out the candy and the manager told me they couldn’t do anything about the candy and I said I had just bought it it as hard as a rock he said once it’s been opened they can’t take it back. So I question him. How would I know it was stale Until I opened it? He mumbled you can feel it. I bit my tongue and asked him. Could I exchange the glasses and he just moved his hand towards the aisles. He was very disrespectful even doing the exchange. I would give his name, but unfortunately he doesn’t wear a name badge. Correction. He does wear a name badge just with the word hello on it with no name Again it’s not about the money. It’s about the lack of respect that this store has for its customers and their lack of ability to properly explain their return policy nonetheless, I will be not be shopping at this particular store in the future

Walked up at 8 am- the time they are supposed to open. Doors were shut and locked. Employee gets out of her car at 8:03 and casually walks up to open the door and then starts to close the door again. I asked her did the store not open at 8? She says she has to go and count her drawer. If the store opens at 8- get there in time to count the drawer before 8.

Every time I go in there an employee is in the phone with personal conversations but when you try and call to ask about something in the store no one answers!

Walked in as only customer at the time, the employee at register did not speak, I went to buy a card came back up front. She had left the register, I had to speak loudly several times 'hello, I need to check out' finally she comes back walking very slowly and did not speak. Did not say I'm sorry you had to wait, said nothing and proceeded to check me out saying nothing. Just rude and not a good representation of dollar general.

This has to be the cleanest, and best stocked DG I've ever been in. I did see that there were 3 or 4 employees in there and that was a good thing. They all were really busy, and the other stores around this area need to show them how to run a store properly

This store has some decent people working there when you can find the store open!!! It seems to be no rhyme or reason to if and when they are open. Some time they open on time ...or not....Some time they close early, even though the employees cars are in the parking lot. Once there was a note on the door that said they were closing early because they had to much inventory

Most Dallar general stores I go to the employees are very nice and the store usually has products I can't find at other dollar stores keep up the good work Dollar General!?
