So I've gone to this gas station numerous times since living in Rocky Mount and have had no issues until tonight and it really wasn't a huge issue but I was a little put off. I purchased $60.00 in gas and the machine asks me do I want a receipt. Of course, I said yes and of course, it tells me "clerk has receipt". So I take the time to go inside, because I have to since I can't get one at the pump, and I didn't pay attention to what pump I was at so when I get in there I tell the girl I don't know what pump I'm on but it was for $60. You could tell that slightly irritated her. She never said anything rude but she shook her head a little and kind of moved her hands like she was frustrated because I didn't know what pump I was on. So I'm saying this to say there is nothing more aggravating than to be asked about getting a receipt and then have to walk inside to get it. To avoid all frustration for both your customers and your cashiers please take the option for a receipt off the pump if you arent going to provide them at the pump. I don't know if it's because the owners/workers are too lazy to fill the machines or they just want you to come inside so you will purchase something but either way it's dang frustrating. I can guarantee you if I have to walk in for a receipt after being asked if I want one at the pump, I'm not going to buy anything extra.
