I love Harris Teeter and I love the sandwiches that I get from the deli. But I have to say they are the slowest bunch of people making sandwiches. I put in a mobile order for my sandwich at 11:30. It said it will be ready by 11:45. I got there at 11:50 and they haven’t even started my sandwich. They didn’t finish the sandwich until 12:10. That’s 40 minutes to make one sandwich. I’ve been at other HT shops and I’m a busy Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon. They have 4 to 5 people Making sandwiches I don’t understand why this particular one is so unbelievably slow.
Other than that, the sandwiches are incredible.

I’ve always loved Harris teeter but the older lady that works in the bakery is so rude it’s wild

Better selection of alternative choices in the area, water, organic, gluten free and less ingredient packaged snacks. Parking lot usually busy with the setting being in a shopping/ eating strip. To avoid traffic you can park on side of building. There are spaces for veterans and family with small children.

I went to Harris teeter on valentine's day to get some fresh crab legs. But what I seen looked old and disgusting. On the bag it said package today but they looked brown and old. I ain't bend to Harris teeter in about 2 years. They got overprice old crab legs. So I went to Sam's club and got some fresh and better looking ones. If I ever go there again I will take some pictures

This was my third store visit and normally I have had a positive experience but today broke that streak. The checkout cashier, per the receipt Shonquella B didn't appear to be happy about her job at all.Upon choosing her lane I could already get a sense of how my experience will be because she had her frown already in position. She seemed to be highly annoyed. She appears to be possibly in her mid fiftys and her attitude and name would be what one would expect from a 20 yr old.She carried a frown through out the whole process and when asked a question she was very short and had quite the attitude. It was very clear she didn't want to be there.I know from previous retail experience that dealing with customers aren't for the weak but she really needs to realize to adjust for the next customer all it takes it being pleasant and she definitely wasn't pleasant at all.Next time I will avoid her checkout all together or go elsewhere.

Good service and selection, but never the best prices. Parking lot is crowded and horribly crowded around the holidays.

A far cry from the quality store it once was. However, the shoppers who crowd the aisle with cell phone glued to their ear seem to dress nicer than foodlion shoppers

They have the rudest deli workers out of all the other stores.

Stopped by the deli today to get a sub and one of the women working behind the counter was astoundingly rude. I was flabbergasted. I could not believe that an employee would behave in such a manner.
When asked which bread I wanted, the ( nice ) lady said they have white, wheat, and cheese bread. So I'm trying to make up my mind and I said " um um let me have the white bread " and this lady who was over by the deli meat started laughing and saying um um um grinning and laughing between each one. Then she comes over to the lady making my sandwich and leans into her ear going um um um, laughing and making faces while she's nudging the lady on the arm and looking at me. She then walks off grinning.
I asked the lady who was making my sandwich " Was she was making fun of me because I couldn't make up my mind " and she said yes.
I told the manager but he didn't seem too shocked. I don't think he'll do anything. He said he was going to talk to her but I doubt it. If there's video over there he should go back and look and he'll see.
The lady who made my sandwich was in fact pleasant and professional.

You’d think selling Boars Head lunch meat would be a goal. You can stand there waiting for help and all they care about is complaining to each other and making subs for all the people that constantly get them. One of the worst deli experiences ever
