Larger Lowe's and has more merchandise in stock compared to other Lowe's stores. Did self check-out.

Update: today is March 16 and the machine is still down and has not been fixed again. I have to go to Wilson to get the lumber I need.
The saw in the lumber department has been down for three months. This is utterly ridiculous. I have to drive completely out of town to find a Lowe’s with a saw working.

You couldn't get help in that store even if you were having a medical emergency. If I had a different choice. I would NEVER allow my shadow to cross their threshold again. Those people walk past you and visibly work to avoid talking to you. And God forbid you ask them a question. They will just get on the intercom and announce what aisle to NOT go to unless you want to help. Sorry, place, sorry people, and terrible customer service.
Edit... self checkout don't mean you can have someone hover over you while you do their job. I was the only one in self checkout, but the lady that was hovering first had to go somewhere, so she called the guy from the lot to stand there and stare at me, holding a push broom. It's such bad service for such a big company. Don't stand over me and stare while I do YOUR job. Put some cashiers up there!
I know yall don't care... but if there was another place we could go... I promise I will be there along with my clients. Together, they own 180 homes in the area, and I would surely not go there if given a choice.
Also... My review is the only one not replied to. Imagine that...

Store employees not well trained on appliance installations. The sub delivery out and when a problem occurs lowes passes the buck to installation company. I paid lowes they need to learn to clean up there mess. Buy you appliances somewhere else.

This store has improved its neatness recently. It’s still hard to find anyone to help you when you need it. Especially in electrical and plumbing.

Very unhelpful staff. I attempted to pay my deceased mother’s card bill at this location with the bill in hand. I was advised they could not accept payment without the card. Well, I guess they don’t want their money. Fine with me.

How can you claim to give a Veterans 10% off but pick and choose when it applies. Doesn't apply on discounted items?

Bought a christmas tree early this morning and it is very pretty. Costumer service, not so much. I asked the young girl if someone could wrap it with the netting. Her response, she didn't know, as she was texting on her phone. I asked if she could call someone about wrapping the tree. Still so busy texting.
Her response was...I should go to customer service. I buy a tree there every year and never have I had to go in the store to ask if someone could wrap the tree. I left, as she was still texting in her phone. Pathetic.

November 2024: I ordered two items online for pickup and it took them over 3 hours to notify me that it was ready to be picked up. To me that's ridiculous, I could have ordered with Walmart plus and had it delivered to my door in the same time.
I'm the sunny side Fantima, was excellent. She had my items out to the car in less than 5 minutes! She was bright and cheerful and very helpful.
July 2024: The app is getting better except for I can't delete and expired credit card with the same number and it won't let me update it so I had to pull out my credit card and tap it. Pain in the butt because I didn't bring my wallet in it was in and out trip with the scan. The electrical department looked kind of disarrayed but that's the norm for a Rocky Mount Lowe's, but they did have what I wanted and it was where it was supposed to be so there's hope.
Oct 2020: The App tells you where to find things...NOT "Oh we don't carry that anymore, yeah we did inventory last night we don't have it or it's in the front as you come in". I spent an hour trying to find 5 things.
Major cluster F trying to use the temporary Lowe's Credit Card. What should have been 20 minutes turned out to be an hour and a half... The employees were frustrated too. It's always something when we go to this Lowe's location.

Absolutely the worst delivery experience. The communication process was horrible. Inconsistent notifications. Unable to get a direct response from the drivers. The delivery guys were 100% great.

Horrible experience at Rocky Mount, Lowe’s.
Went to grab a sheet of plywood, found an overpriced one that would work, but som JackWagon with a forklift jammed as many as he could squeeze in between the metal shelf. Called a clerk for help, he struggled to get one… it never budged. I told him he needed a forklift, and he replied they don’t have one. I went to the front to talk to a manager and after 10 minutes of waiting, decided to go to Tarboro’s Lowe’s and just call the manager (who I saw walking out front to sell a lawn mower). I walked out and listened to my call and saw every time he swiped his phone I would get a reset on the ringtone. Ended up driving home, loading my dog, and got into the tarboro Lowes before the front desk picked up the phone and transferred me again to the manager. It was almost 40 minutes when the Assistant manger got on the phone, when I told him my complaint, he said we have fork lift drivers… no one ever called to get one!
I suggested they need a new store manager and could earn my Engineer’s salary in reducing scrap and better customer service.

Wanted a drill, which is now under lock and key. Couldn't get help for for 15 to 20 minutes. After picking up the drill I was escorted to register like a criminal to pay. Couldn't shop for anything else until this was paid for. Take it to my truck and return to shop. That's not right. Guess they want people to shop online so they can charge extra fees. Guess I'll be going elsewhere.
