Worst bank branch in North America. Needed to do a wire transfer when purchasing our home, left sitting on a chair for a long time while the employees chatted. Left and went to the other branch in town. The drive-up ATM never has currency, and the walk-up is also often out. Unbelievable both branches have no Saturday morning hours. Have banked with WF in another states for decades but now going to move to another bank. Just awful.

I am confused by the negative review by Alan S. He drives an hour from Roanoke Rapids to deposit a check, when: 1. There is a Wells Fargo branch in Roanoke Rapids. 2. Wells Fargo offers a convenient deposit by phone option that involves merely taking a picture of the front and the back of the check. I've used the feature many times to avoid the necessity of taking checks to the bank both for business and personal use. P.S. I do not have reason to use the drop box at this location, but I believe that our church does so and they are provided with a key to the drop box. The reason for that practice is that some people think it is "fun" to stuff overnight drop boxes with trash as a prank. As I noted above, you can always deposit checks by phone or through the 24 hour teller, if it is not a large number. Regardless, I am certain that someone in the branch would be happy to work with you on the situation. As for this branch and the bank, I am very happy with the personal service that I receive each time that I go into the branch office, which is at least a couple of times a month. I am greeted at the door, tellers are happy and helpful, and the products and services are affordable and appropriate to my needs. Now, if I could just find more money to deposit. :-)

I haven't actually experienced the branch and its employees as of this post. However, the closing time is 5pm, and it's an hour away. (Closest to me) So.....I left early to deposit a check (night deposit) I arrived at 4 am to allow time for my commute back to work, only to find the night drop LOCKED!!!!! I have seen very few banks without a night deposit drawer, rotating lock etc. WOW. Very frustrating!!

I give Sunset Avenue,Rocky Mount,NC Wells Fargo a ONE star,only premise on what i've seen and how my sister said she was treated. But 1 star is for the BEST employee in the entire damn bank,and that is 1 nice (Very)professional sista by the name,(i hope i spell it right, as i shall share publicly below.) One time and recently as well, i had went down south off I-95 to NC,visit some fam there, and a friend of mine.Had to go into my local/out of state during this time W.F.Bank and the closest was there in Rocky Mt.,NC over @ Wells Fargo on Sunset Ave. - Yumeko her name is, 1 of a kind teller,meaning quite professional i.e.,not sleepin' on the job/slow poke, lazy, when i am at the teller when i visit my sister in NC and a couple of friends,every other month.The bias manager is a whole nother problem, who is named, i think Omar. (Dark skin male) and he is not professional in our fam opinion. For instance: -He biasly chose to deny my older sister even a savings account debit atm card. She been banking there longer than his sorry azz was working there.She then goes at another branch for W.F., and guess what?For long time now she has no issue with other mgr., branch approve her for the card without an issue.She now shall make a public lawful complaint to the appropriate corporate on the mgr., specifically,making her smile as she do so. - My sister is going to sign a complaint i think soon against him as others. Then maybe he will focus on being professional and if not fired, be able to take professional management add'l courses & remember he is a brotha in a decent/ok looking suit,that's it.He is not a boss.#realwinners are a #respectful hard working-boss in life,and those who work hard. Not discriminate..."He did not think she is going to sign complaint against him,but she will soon as was told to definitely contact against him corporate. She also feel he discriminate against his own people once too often as she met a few more online who are having same issues in the branch with the mgr., directly. - I have not witness that,but a complaint against the manager at the sunset avenue wells fargo, will follow,by others along with, my older sister there. -I know more should be like Yumeko.Very professional,and stop dressing/allowing some of your women in the branch to dress with Skin-Tight dresses on that is not professional and look SLOPPY when you're working supposedly in a bank. PEACE.

Called for assistance with account. Was put on hold for 10 minutes. Then called back for them to tell me that they couldn't help me over the phone. Overall very poor customer service.
