“I started collecting silver coins, both rounds and bullion as well as 1 ounce bars and some smaller fractional pieces last year. I think at this point I know more than the average person, but today I learned that I know about as much as a preschooler does compared to Doc, one of the owners.I did not expect to spend the better part of an hour and a half after working speaking to Doc and some of the other customers there, but I couldn’t tear myself away. I got A mere peak into Doc’s life as he told me about various experiences and careers he’s had, all while explaining the history and the definitions of different types of bullion.I would pick up piece after peace having different questions about each one, and he would be able to talk in-depth about everything I touched and pointed to and answer all of my questions.I had never seen most of these coins in person before, seated and standing liberties and so many others, and do explained that they visit a lot of coin shows so a lot of the good stuff is absent at the moment. Well, I’m excited for when I am back in the area and can visit again, further our discussions and conversation, as well as check out all of the other treasures that are currently absent. If you appreciate history, want to learn about different coins, or bounce ideas off of someone, we just have a good 30 minutes to an hour to spend looking through treasures, then rear coins of Raleigh is definitely the spot for you.I left with two rounds which I’ve posted on Google Photos under the business. I’m very happy to add them to my collection and they will be pocket coins that I rotate, able to pull one out the instant anyone I come across either brings up investments or hobbies, or gives me any other reason to show them a piece of silver. It’s really cool stuff and it’s a really cool place.”
“Was a nice, clean, stocked store AND restroom, with friendly, helpful associates. I just wish this store, along with others like it, would sell in-season items DURING THE ENTIRE PERSPECTIVE SEASON. They mostly had Christmas stock, very little autumn, and it is BEFORE Halloween. It's mid-ladder October.”
“I forgot her name, but she has glasses, is short, stocky, and has blondish brown braids in her hair. She was very nice, and she blew up my daughter's Barbie balloons nicely and with care. Thank you.”
“Robert was so pleasant to work with and made me feel like a person and not just another question to answer. Staff is always friendly, helpful and genuinely kind.”
“Leaving a quick review for Michael’s here off Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina. I stopped in to get some custom frame work done. The experience I had at the custom frame counter was next level. Mary and custom framing was the bomb to work with. Her customer service skills are Sharp, her listening skills were fantastic and her designing skills were next level. Custom framing projects can be a lot of work, as they are extremely expensive, you want to make sure you get the best design put together for the money. Mary allowed me to play with different frames, mats, and glass combinations to get the exact look that I wanted within my price range. She was patient and very kind. She even stayed 35 minutes beyond her shift to make sure I was assisted. She could’ve easily handed me to another employee, but instead she continued to work with me to make sure my frame order was exactly what I was dreaming of. Thank you so much, Mary!”
“Got a super nice 1966 George Blanda today at a good price. My story is, while visiting, I was talked into buying a Russell Wilson auto for $50 in 2015. 5 years later I sent it off and it graded PSA 10. They know their stuff. Great investment.”
