“Tiger Town Thrift Store is a treasure trove! They have everything from the very practical household item to hard to find unique vintage or handcrafted finds. It is a beautiful 30-40 minute mountain drive from upstate South Carolina and well worth the trip. The proceeds support local seniors in need with meals and food. The inside of the boutique-like shop includes various rooms of well organized wares. Even the books are in alphabetical order or separated by subject. The wonderful people who run the store are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about community care. I walked in out of curiosity and left feeling like I could be great friends with every person that I met!”

“If you like good stuff, this place has it. Brevard has a lot of retirees that end up dying in the mountains. Their belongings end up here as your new treasures! This place is clean and spacious.”

“I’ve loved St. Phil’s for a long time and usually shop/donate every 1–2 weeks - most of my wardrobe is from there and they have unique home finds and fabrics too! I’m giving 4 stars because recent visits have been frustrating. There’s been confusion at checkout—twice I’ve been overcharged because the sales of the week weren’t applied (the whole reason I came to shop), and recently I was almost charged an extra $35 by mistake. I had to ask why my bill was double what it should be. The staff didn’t apologize, just asked for my understanding and that I need to keep them honest. Still ended up being over-charged $5 and I wasn’t refunded, only given a same-day credit I couldn’t use. I get it’s volunteer-run, but the register matters- and the new volunteers weren’t focused or present. I hope they receive more training and support—especially for regulars who want to keep coming back.”

“Some of the items are overpriced. (Used merrells for $50. A dirty old Coach bag for $40+… really?) Just because it has a high retail value doesn’t mean it holds the same value used and at a thrift store after donation. Friendly staff and organized space!”

“I regularly donate to the Brevard Habitat. I have personally seen the fine work they are doing to provide deserving families with beautiful homes. Staff is always friendly and appreciative.”

“Love this store. Please remember what the money is for. They are trying to maximize returns from donations. Some things are priced higher but I have found most to be fair. If it doesn’t see they lower the price! So, take a chance on it still being there! I go in there all the time and have found great bargains and some wonderful older pieces. I have passed on some wonderful things waiting for the price to go down and then go back and it is gone. Somebody thought it was priced fair!!! Well run, items displayed nicely. The staff is AWESOME!!!! Highly recommend this store. Go several times per week. It’s a treasure hunt!!!!”

“I like the new lady with the long dark hair...she is very helpful. She is always busy! The shoes in this store are usually all over the place. People seem to make a mess of the shoe aisles!”
