My family prefers Medaccess to using the ER. They have pretty much everything needed to assist minor emergencies including xray, IV fluids, lab tests, etc. & if they recommend ER or hospital stay they will call ahead for you & send the records over so nothing is duplicate.

Went too this place last night for not feeling well at all and the receptionist was incredibly rude and acted like she didn't wanna do her job. Just overall wasn't happy with the experience to go into and urgent care pregnant and already not feeling good to be greeted by someone who wanted too have and attuide with me and roll her eyes right in front of me. But the nurse I had was very nice really did her best too make me feel welcome.

Med access of Roxboro was absolutely professional and friendly. Lori signed me in with courtesy and the whole team was fast and prompt.

I am appalled at the doctors attitude. First of all, no introduction when he walked in the room. I just had specific questions about my condition and then asked when results would be available. He literally put his head down as he was trying to walk out the door like he was bothered that I had a question and he couldn't get out of the room fast enough. He acted as if he had no knowledge about a med I was on and if I should stop it during my sickness. This med suppresses your immune system so it was a very legitimate question. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. One man sat in a room for 2 hours and was never seen. He just walked out and left. Very sad and disappointing care in Roxboro. We have to do better than this. If you don't like your job, leave.

The provider prescribed me an allergy/cough medicine for a sinus infection but never even sent the script to the pharmacy....

We were there about 30 to 45 minutes upon arrival. There we only 1 patient ahead of us.Glad it was a slow morning.

On my first visit I was misdiagnosed by the female doctor. I don't have a heart problem and their eye exam test is flawed. I've never failed an eye exam before. I want my money back. Today's appointment , The receptionist rolled her eyes at me before she got to me which I was behind a patient in line. She told me before checking my blood pressure as soon as she came into the room she refused to check today, that she was going to fail me.Very unprofessional.Please Do Not Go Here for Your physical. They're corrupt

Thank you to the team at MedAccess in Roxboro! Yesterday I stepped off my deck and landed badly on my ankle...after the shock wore off the pain and swelling could not be ignored. I knew I didn't need the ER so I checked MedAccess' website and saw they could X-ray and much more if needed. A convenient drive from Timberlake and online pre-check in made my visit fast and efficient. Taylor got me all set with a few forms/insurance stuff. Dr. Peter gave my ankle a gentle exam and Ms. Lauren took several X-rays with care and clear instructions. I did have a small fracture and will be following up with an orthopedist. I received a supportive boot with air compression and aftercare instructions that made me feel confident I could take care of myself and know when to seek further medical attention. Glad you are here and available in my community!

I went in for a DOT physical. There were 4 people in front of me for physicals as well. It took them 4.5 hours to get me seen. No other walk ins, no respect for people and their time. If your time is valuable this place is not for you.

Absolutely terrible! Walked in on 1.19.22 and the receptionist had a terrible disposition and acted as if she was being bothered to check in someone. There was no sense of urgency. A few people were in front of us but we were there for a possible fracture. They seemed more interested in leaving at 5PM, rather than helping us. That is sad. Service like this, you all will go out of business. Needless to say, we ended up going to the ER. Isn't that the reason we use an Urgent Care...to stay out of the ER? Ridiculous!

I took my son in who was experiencing migraines and sinus pressure. The EMT that triaged us immediately told him that he might have a tumor and should get his head scanned because she has experience with tumors. Who tells a child they might have a tumor? That is completely unacceptable. Now everytime my sons head is hurting he questions, what if its a tumor. Thanks lady for the new stress and drama. It is not your place to diagnose my child. That is for the doctor and the word tumor never came out of his mouth. I dont know that I will ever go back. Dr. Hawkins was great but everyone else we dealt with that day, not so much.

The whole experience from start to finish was great. Everone was so kind, empathetic, and compassionate. The male med tech was just so nice and NP Jennifer was outstanding. I cannot say enough good things. I wish I could make them my PCP.

Been several times with kids, wife and myself. Each time I say to myself the next time will be better. But I've been wrong. Staff is rude, wait time is ridiculous. My son and I waited for 40 minutes in the lobby and then an additional hour once escorted back to a doctor's office. My daughter needed a shot and a lady whose name I will not mention was rude and seemed to lose her patience with my young daughter who was afraid of needles. It was a flu shot. The lady only got about half of the shot in my daughter's arm and the rest spilled down her arm. So what did this lady say ? "Well, I think we got enough in her". Really???Do yourself a favor, find another establishment, especially if you have small children or value your time.
