I have used this station since I moved town 3 years ago. I’ve always paid with my MC to save .50 a gal. and to earn points. Never had a issues. The other day I used my Amex and they’ve put a $200 hold on my account for $30 in gas.I can see a small pre auth charge but not $200. If this has become a new policy I won’t be back

Tried to use a Shell gift card at this Roxboro NC Quality Mart to buy gas.The girl said I can’t use it here (apparently her manager instructed her to refuse Shell gift cards)and got very rude with me. She said “you know I can trespass you from this store, right” and told me “don’t try your luck”Trespass me for trying to use a gift card?I hope she has a better day. Very bad service. The manager I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and apologized.

Hello,I went to patron your store, located at 207 N Madison Blvd, Roxboro, NC yesterday to get a car wash with my wife. I pulled up to the wash, the door was closed but the card/payment pedestal was operating and the “ready for use” light was green and flashing. I assumed that the garage door was closed and would open when the wash was ready for me as it was super cold, and this is how some car washes are to keep from freezing. Door closed until use. I paid $10 for the wash but the door did not open. My wife went in the store to talk with the cashier which then called a lady manager. She came out to tell me that a guy with blonde hair gave him $10 out of his own pocket as the other cashier and manager told her it was my fault for putting the money in the machine. She was spoken to in a rude manner and just didn’t want to deal with it. Then I went back in to give the $10 back to the young man as he did not have to give me his own personal money because the store would not. I spoke to the young lady cashier and immediately she was aggressive and confrontational, so I asked to speak to the manager which was on the phone with her. The manager immediately was just as confrontational and just basically told me I was dumb for putting the money in there and that she would not return the money I paid. I told her there are ZERO warnings telling me that the wash is down. The green light still flashing telling “ready for use” was still lit. and the pedestal, still taking money. All I want is an apology and my $10 back as services were NOT rendered. This is no way to treat paying customers and patrons of your store.

On November 12, 2021 this store short changed me $10. I returned to the store the next day on the 13th and was told to call Lori that Monday. Lori was not there. I constantly called to get my money and was told I could only speak to Lori. Days passed and I was told Lori leaves early because of some surgery she had. I finally spoke to Lori this morning November 22. She said she was aware of my shortage but cannot go back and pull the cameras. What??? Why wouldn’t she have already pulled the cameras? SHELL station on 207 Madison Blvd Roxboro NC had a thief. Be aware they may be cognizant to give a receipt, but not the correct change!!. THIS SHELL GAS STATION GAVE VERY UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER.

Need to find out why all of a sudden they charge you a dollar when you pump gas. My gas total was 20.06 then later on got a bill pending on my checking for 1.00 and don't know why.
