WALGREENS IN Roxboro, North Carolina is the Worse place ever to get prescriptions filled and the prices at all pharmacy stores and everything else in the stores are so expensive that no one shops for everything else in their stores! That’s why they are all going out of business! Prices in pharmacy stores on everything else in these stores have always been higher then any other kind of stores. It’s not just recently that their prices are way too high, it’s always been the way they have always done business! Sad world where everything sold or bought in this world is all about making the rich richer and the poorer!

Very dissatisfied with this store. My wife with 2 kids drove up to this location 3 times in a matter of 3 days to pick up a prescription that was sent on a Wednesday, end up not being ready til 2 pm so she went home. Next day went back around 2pm and was told it wasn't there because they were on their lunch break. So the third and final day she goes up there and guess what still not ready. Something needs to be done at this location. Sell it, tear it down and start over. Because stores like this will ruin is cancerous in a good town. The owner of this establishment should rethink his position and give it to someone more qualified. 1 star is definitely more than this place deserves. May God bless this store and make it great again!!!

I generally avoid the Dollar General of drug store chains, but as they had the latest COVID vaccine, set up an appointment on their website to get her and me a shot. Get there, reassured by the same (seemingly) "free COVID and Flu Shots Here" sign at the door -- I've gotten several such boosters at this Walgreens and others -- and now they've pulled a bait and switch and want to bill insurance for such shots. Cool. Just lying in their advertising.
Service is slow and all the smiles and apologies in the world can't make up for LYING in your advertising. Never again.

I was on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The answer machine hung up on me .this store is not a good place to get drugs .it was rude as he'll .make people stay on hold till .they closed .

This location must be terribly understaffed. I've been trying to get a prescription refilled for over a week. For 3 days, nobody answers the phone after being on hold for 45+ minutes. This happens every month so one can only assume the employees are terribly overworked. Management should forfeit their bonuses and hire more pharmacy staff, instead. Walgreens is not the only pharmacy available in Roxboro.

1 star is too much, but I can't use 0. Everytime I call I'm on hold for the longest. 30 mins or more. They are not the friendliest staff. I went tonight. Pulled up at drive thru at 7:55. They had already covered the window! You close at 8:00?!?.What if someone needed some serious meds. They just don't gaf. Transferring my prescriptions. Just ridiculous...

Absolute trash pharmacy. Got the automated call that my script was ready, get up there and they tell me another hour before it's ready. I'd been waiting since this morning when my doctor sent it over. But the staff at this pharmacy kept saying it was never sent over. Had to have my doc actually call them... absolutely trash service and organization.

On phone hold 3 times today for over 40 minutes... Roxboro walgreens because So Bo
Va is now closed on Sat. Thats 3 hours of my time. 3 callers ahead of me. The last time got to 45 mins and I was the next caller in line! Yay! Then I finally got to hear a real person speak.. when she said... 'Walgreens..hold please'. The dreadful music played on. After 15 more minutes..it started ringing. 'Yes, Finally'! Nope.. after the 20+ rings it cut us off. Called right back ..'more than 3 callers ahead of you' ... Nope and never again. No need to wonder why people are going elsewhere and they're having to shut down half their stores due to lack of business. And I just wasted another 2 mins texting this.

It took 3 days to finally get the prescription I needed. I physically drove 20 miles RT for my prescription.the final visit it still wasn’t done and waited an additional 45 minutes.

Please tell me how a Pharmacy can close for 2 days? Do they not have a plan in place for this situtation??? This is the second time this has happened. Am going to change pharmacies as soon as I can!!!! They get a minus 1 star and lost a customer
