“I was traveling in NC recently and picked up a nail in tire around 9 am on a Friday. I found Wilson's by luck, as they were the closest to me. I called and asked if they could plug a tire. I believe I was speaking to the owner. He told me they don't plug tires, they patch them, and he could do it before noon. They took me in right away and had the tire patched and back on the vehicle in about 30 minutes for a fair price. He wished me a good trip and we went on our way. Basically saved my trip, or at least saved me a ton of time. The place had an overall good vibe, and he took great care of an out-of-towner. While only a tire repair, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Wilson's.”

“I have been coming to Boyd's Tire Center since I had my first car, on a college student's budget. He always provide great service with an even better price. It seems that people sometimes get upset when they drive around back and see Mr. Boyd working on another car, because he is supposed to be exclusively working with theirs, ?.
He may or may not let you know the state of your old tire since you came to him in the first place. I just had to ask today. I didn't know one tire was down to the wire. The other, yes I felt the bump on the previous day when I turned on my street to go home. That red thing is a roofing nail, who knew? Mr. Boyd did, lol.

I’ve been to 311 for a few small things in the past, but had a laundry list of things pop up on my truck this week that was going to cost $6,000 to get done at the dealer I normally use. Mark was able to get all of it done plus a few extra things he noticed for less than $3,000. He was very upfront and honest about his pricing and squeezed me in without an appointment. “Thoroughly impressed with this excellent tire and trailer service!! I was asked by my Fleet Manager, Reggie Roberts, to bring my truck to initially have a couple drive tires replaced, but due to their professional expertise and advise, they suggested all the drive tires be replaced. They explained why this needed to be accomplished, especially Kenneth, who I was initially impressed with because of his obvious intelligence and friendliness!! I also had informed them that the trailer brakes may need to be adjusted due to issues with moving the tandems on my last load run. They were able to quickly and efficiently find that there was a definite issue with the trailer brakes and that they would need to be replaced. What really impressed me was their attention to detail, obvious competence and the quickness of their work. They also had a very nice and comfortable waiting area that definitely was needed at the time. I hadn’t had much sleep due to my last run, but the environment was warm and inviting and allowed for me to have a chance to take a breather and relax for a few moments! Much appreciation and kudos to the entire staff that made my brief stay there an enjoyable and excellent experience!! Keep up the great work!!”

I would have never figured out on my Kia they changed flywheel mid-production to a different one which is why a new, correct starter would not fit. So they had their parts place pull all of them for that model/year so they could figure it out. Not been anywhere else but Family Tire & Auto since. And just did another great job on my wife's car too.”
