We purchased a new home and needed propane to cook immediately. Josh (manager) said “he could get his guys out” to install a new tank the following Monday. While confirming the Friday before, Josh informed us both his installers had quit but he would personally complete the work himself. It’s Tuesday morning now and we are cooking sausage & eggs ?. Thank you Josh. You and Freeman have a new customer for life. ??

I own 2 properties. I wanted to close one property account a d have tank removed. Freeman gas, rutherford area, failed to do so. 6 months later I receive coupons from Freemans stating discounts ex. Buy 100 gallons get 10$ off. I called, the lady at front desk was rude, stated they would not honor it bc I had to purchase the entire amount, 100 gallons, and have it delivered at the same time. I wanted to prepay bc I had 30% left, approx. 30 gallons. She said to call back when I was down to 5%. A mo th later, I did, but they sent it to the other property, didn't even give me a discount, then try to hold me accountable for their mistake. Luckily the own came and and made it right. But the the rude lady said she was goings to make a note to never serve my other property again. Stated how is that fair for us? Owner agreed. The old lady must be a miserable hag bc all of that, that transpired was unnecessary. Some people cannot take accountability for their mistakes. Hire a new front desk lady.Update: Joshua, the manager, called in response to the review. He did take appropriate measures to provide a resolution to the above complaints. All of which are satisfactory to me and my husband. We are pleased with the results. Joshua helped resolve the issues in such an expedited, fair way. Thank you for your services. You went above and beyond to make us feel heard and respected.You're a great manager! Luis and Jennifer E.

"Extension 1234 is not Available" .... This message you will receive from time to time is an issue, especially when u are out of gas. However after finally getting ahold of them they resolved the problems we were having immediately. Their good ppl and do their jobs professionally.

Freeman Gas HVL NC had no problem taking my money for new gas logs and setting an install date. There was no phone call to confirm installation, but he (Brian) did show up on scheduled date for installation. Brian (who no longer works there) took my information to get a hood ordered to keep the heat off the mantle (only 14" away). Since the installation of logs, I've called Freeman HVL 3 times to get it ordered and I keep getting excuses. Then I complained about smelling gas and was told they'd come out. NO SHOW. Angela knows how to answer the phone but aside from that it's all lies. Horrible customer service.

Love these people. I moved here last March . I’m. A last minute kind of person due to. Y busy work schedules . Usually when I have time it’s limited such as one day time frame . Every time I’ve needed them they reacted with quick services. The girls in the office are polite , I enjoy the chi chats we have in addition to solving my needs . Highly recommend this office . Hasn’t let me down yet.

I highly recommend Freeman Propane for the professionalism and customer service I received from their office in Rutherfordton. They promptly addressed my concern and immediately made it right. Too bad more businesses don’t follow their example.

Thank you to Freeman Gas of Rutherfordton for a wonderful experience. We switched over to Freeman recently, and we are finding them to be incredibly professional and great with customer service. The techs who installed our new tank were very good to ask questions, give advice, and let me know what was going on each step of the way. Before I could even call the competitor to pick up their old tank, Freeman Gas had already called them! (Note, the old tank is still in my back yard!) Also, at the time I received my first bill, we had a family tragedy. During the aftermath of this, I lost my first bill! When I called to see if I could pay over the phone, the customer service rep was wonderful. She repeated my address, name, etc, back to me to make sure she was crediting the correct account (something the previous company had issues with even with a check and return stub). She explained when I would get an email receipt. This has been altogether a great experience so far. Thank you again!

Never return phone calls about service on my fireplace...but very efficient on billing me for tank rental and taking payment
