Parton Lumber is a large commercial sawmill and dry kiln operation in Western North Carolina. They produce Appalachian Hardwoods and Eastern White Pine and supply raw lumber for doors, windows, millwork, furniture, flooring, and other solid wood products. The staff is friendly from start to finish and the loading is fast, often less than 20 minutes. Many describe the experience as great, with laughs and professional service. Management is praised for keeping the operation pleasant and efficient.
This is an excellent place to load. The staff is very friendly; you wait at the stop sign, and they give you instructions there. Loading is very fast; afterwards, you park your truck in the truck parking area and go to the office to pick up your paperwork.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I load here usually once a week and it is 100% the fastest you will ever be loaded. The tarping station can be tricky, but pull into it don't try to back in, the hill is too steep.

At first you are confused why they don't come to take your data but in general they are friendly people.. be patient
