One star won't do it...
Durning a recent visit I witnessed a man that appeared to be homeless bring in some shoes, rather nice shoes... He went to the jacket area and grabbed a jacket and proceeded to the counter he sat the shoes down and ask the man if he could exchange them out since he was in need of a coat. The man told him no they do not do those things that he would have to purchase the jacket. He explained he didn't have money for the jacket. As the man went to put the jacket back up the man working the counter pushed the mans shoes OFF THE COUNTER in the FLOOR. Another customer asked what the issue was and he said something about people who pay put their items there....The kindness of another person bought the jacket for the man. The fact that you're reselling DONATED stuff and yet someone who is homeless comes in to your establishment and you treat him differently than paying customers says a lot about this business especially the way your staffed in trained. Im sure this man has treated other customers the same way in the past with NO CONSEQUENCES for his actions.
I 100% understand having to deal with homelessness especially in this area as it's where I grew up however to disrespect this customer in front of other people is far beyond rude. I have encountered this person before he is a tall white male.
I rarely go out of my way to write reviews for business, however I felt this was needed.

Went into the Jake Alexander store to kill a little time and came across some music CD’s and found one that had a lot of songs from the 80s that I really liked so I took it to the register and purchased it. Went out to my car and put it in the CD player and was disappointed that it was not the CD that went with the case. I went back in the store and told them it was not the right CD. They called the manager to the register and she said there’s nothing she could do and she could not give me back my money but only give me a gift card. Honestly I rarely fine anything I need in goodwill and it usually marked up way more than it’s worth. Can’t believe they would not give me my money back knowing I just purchased it. I’m never going back to goodwill or donating to them again.

Very nice and clean Goodwill. I found this to be well organized and the staff was friendly. I purchased a few clothing items and will return when I'm back in the area.

If you are a legal open carry citizen - you are not welcome in this establishment. My husband was asked to leave because an employee reported him. There are no signs posted that guns are not allowed; and open carry is legal in North Carolina. Very disappointed.

Senior tennis players and golfers BEWARE! Unlike other Goodwill stores this store just throws racquet and golf clubs into a pile on the lowest shelf possible where we seniors have to get down on our knees and hopefully get back up!!
If that's not enough danger, the shelf just above the racquet and clubs has a very sharp bottom edge that will cut your forearm!
Management here is oblivious to the risks we seniors face.
They used to put the clubs in front of the Fire Exit!!!
This is a very clean and well organized store, better than the new one on Faith Rd, but they could care less about Tennis or Golf gear, or Seniors!

I honestly don’t know what’s going with this location. Video games are suppose to be $3-$5 not $25 BLACK OPS 2 came out 12 years ago after this I’ll never donate to here again. Inflation already bad enough food , gas ,clothing and rent. But here this location is trying nickel and dime every thing that comes in. Upcharging media knowing dang well if some buys it and doesn’t work you can return it. So then what the person out of $25
No game should priced higher than $5
You know how many games I’ve bought from this location that look fine then I got home they didn’t work
Disc rot does exist , scratches and other major issues do exist.
Employees in the back
STOP BEING GREEDY QUICK NICKEL OVER SLOW DIME ALL GAMES SHOULD STAY AT $5

Like all Goodwill stores the housewares are way overpriced as are the special finds. Thrift doesn't mean gouge people. You get the stuff free..make it affordable like it used to be. The upside is the staff is always nice here.

This location is by far one of the worst. Trying to donate is a nightmare. Was dropping goods off today and an employee yelled at my husband and I saying they aren’t taking donations and when we decided to leave them anyways as we didn’t want to just throw away good designer brands (such as lululemon, free people ect) he started filming us. Disgusting way to conduct business and I will never donate to this location again. You should be ashamed of yourself. This is supposed to be a charity that helps people in need and the products we bring are the only way this company stays in business. Not to mention because of the more upscale brands you’re able to mark it up more as well. Please do not be disrespectful to the people that are making sure you continue to be in business and employed.

This used to be my favorite Goodwill, not anymore. They overprice way too much at the one. I try not to go to this one UNLESS it is my absolute last resort. Female charged me $5 for a sleeper and told me she was giving me a deal because she was supposed to be charging me $9? but the sign said $4.99. Used dishes overpriced, One female on the floor told me $2.99 for a handbag got to the register and the same female that tried to over price a sleeper charged me $4.99. To overprice and then get asked to round up

Went to this Goodwill location for the first and ONLY time. Cashier charged me for 2 extra pairs of pants (11$) and charged me for a pair of adult shoes instead of adult flip flops (3$ difference). So when I spoke to the manager Robin about it she refunded me back the extra pair of pants the cashier charged me wrongfully without apologizing or being empathetic about the mistake done. She also did not want to refund me the wrong charge for shoes instead of sandals. Said the sandals were considered shoes. Now I would let it go, but there is a literal SIGN in the store saying "sandals 3$ and shoes 6$" and when I showed her the sign she said "I don't make the signs". She acted bias and racist towards me because I told her the type of shoes I was buying are sandals. She said "sandals means two different things to you and me" when there is a UNIVERSAL meaning of sandals. Her ego would not let her admit she was wrong and instead just ignored me. She did not act professional and empathize with the situation when her cashier charged me extra, she is charging wrongfully for items at her store and is not honoring what the price signs say. Worst manager ever, Robin should not be a manager and needs to learn what the difference between a shoe and sandal are.
