My son went through a" mechanic " to buy a motor for his 6.7. The guy goes through Advance Auto parts who bought the motor from yall. Turns out the " used motor with 100k miles on it " it covered in rust and looks that of a junk yard motor. Who knew the term " used " meant junk yard when it comes to motors. Advance Auto refuses to speak to us about the motor. Really who wants that in their vehicle? So he's outta 8,500. Don't sell rusted out junk

All LKQ locations is terrible, the prices absolutely different like in online, they always try deceive you with prices and an annoying guarantee of 40% of the cost, while other junkyards give a 30-day guarantee for free. The most terrible lkq place in Charlotte too. When I asked for a manager, they simply began laughing to me, I wish this arrogant and greedy company to go bankrupt.

This is the most retarded place I've ever visited. Huge yard, but you only buy parts online with no in store shopping? Idk who runs this circus but you just lost massive clientele with online only. Idk who is going to buy a used part condition unknown for standard retail. Scam!

This location has not only the worst management I've ever witnessed, but the most shady and bizarre. The lead plant manager and assistant Manger are shady crooks who will conduct illegal business if the price is right. They should be reported to the bbb and looked into.

Update, I called the number left in the response to this review to no avail. They stole $2800 from meI work for a company that buys a lot of engine/transmissions from LKQ, or shall I say did in the past. I Was working with a guy named Thomas. They refused to warranty a bad $2800 transmission that I know for a fact is toast, they said it’s because I didn’t program it(their special way now of getting out of warranties ) but why would I program a trans that’s black and fried inside? The miles on the odometer are the same now as what it was when I told them the mileage when I bought the transmission. I’m about to buy two engines three transmissions and a rear end and it won’t be from LKQ. Never again. Them being greedy and finding a tricky way to get out of a warranty cost them a lot of business. Will also be reporting to the BBB. ASE certified Master Automobile Technician 35+ years experience.

If there was an option for ZERO stars I would use it.The customer service/ sales team was good and helped me find the exact items that I was looking for... supposedly... I ordered 4 headrests that were supposed to be grey leather.I paid for the items sight unseen over the phone and my items would be available for pickup within 24 hours at the Salisbury location.I was contacted TWICE by LKQ to say that my items had been all collected from the SAME TRUCK and ready for me to pick them up.I arrived at the Salisbury location at 3:30pm to find a sign on the front gate saying OUT TO LUNCH! After a few phone calls customer service got in touch with a manager who came to the front gate after waiting for 40 minutes. Several employees came out of the gate with LKQ name badges during the 40 minutes and were absolutely not interested in helping me. One of the employees wanted to start an argument with me!Once in the office, I had to wait while he searched for the headrests which were nowhere to be seen. He then went out back and found a thick plastic bag with the supposed headrests. I thanked him and finally went outside to my truck the install them.When I opened the bag I found 2 black headrests, 1 dark gray headrest, 1 light gray headrest... the two front headrests were totally different styles as well! Un frickin believable!!!I got back inside the office only because another customer came out of the locked gate! I was given an apology and promised a refund back to my credit card.Time will tell...Unless they revamp their Salisbury office from the top down, I would avoid this business like the plague!
