I own a seafood business in Salter Path, close to Mike Norman. Ever since I started selling seafood, he has felt the need to put me and my business down to customers. It’s a shame that one small business would have the nerve to do this to another. I support all small local businesses but this one has went to whole new level to bring mine down. We all live on a small island in a tourist area with enough business to go around for everyone. I have all my proof on what I sell and I gladly show all my customers what products I have no matter if it’s fresh or frozen. I have nothing to hide but Mike wants to tell everyone that I have imported seafood with NO PROOF. Such a sad way to run a business and very unprofessional! All this said, I will NEVER tell anyone not to go to Norman’s Seafood because this is not the kind of person that I am to put another business down. Please do your research before listening to another small business down another one. Captain’s Choice Seafood is rated 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with over 120 reviews and voted number 1 for Top Quality Seafood.

We always come here and get fresh shrimp. When my sister-in-law is in town, this time we bought shrimp, and also a key lime pie. It was very good we had it on the 4th of July while we went camping

Fresh shrimp. Paula is friendly and takes great care to please the customers. Each year, when I visit the area, I will be going to Norman's to get my shrimp.

My family has been patronizing Mike Norman's for 30 years. It doesn't get more local and fresh than this and his prices can't be beat. Captain Mike goes straight from the boat to the little store, he and Paula sell their own shrimp. They have medium/large/jumbo shrimp, scallops, key lime pie, and crab cakes. Depending on the catch they sometimes have tender green tails and deveined, deshelled shrimp. We only recently discovered the key lime pies ($16) Paula makes them with real key lime juice. And boy can you tell the difference. This is the best keylime pie I've had outside of Key Largo. Best on the island here.(The prices and pictures are from 2022.)

The sweetest freshest shrimp, the tangiest home made key lime pie, and the friendliest owners you’ll ever meet. Third generation fishermen. You will NOT be disappointed. They are located near Lost Treasure mini golf on Salter Path.

I loved this place. It's not fancy, but it's fresh. They are inside, with fresh shrimp, ready to sell. Ready to be enjoyed. We chose the cleaned shrimp. It came in a quart sized ziploc bag. I love it.Want to know why? That means a human took care of my fresh catch. That means that someone cared to do it correctly. That means, more then likely, this place is someone's labor of love. There were some other offerings, beside shrimp. Crab cakes (frozen) and maybe some other fresh catches. Honestly, by the time we got there, lots was already sold out.I HIGHLY recommend the Key Lime pie. We drove it back to New Jersey in a cooler, and it was still better then most I've had in restaurants.Eat local. Spend your money on people who care what you're eating.
