I was so grateful they were open on Thanksgiving. I tested positive for covid and they were able to prescribe the paxlovid anti viral medicine. The provider was very nice and the visit did not take very long.

Firstmed In Sanford Has an amazing staff. The front desk Steph were so awesome. I went in as a urgent care patient and came out having establish care with Sarah. Wonderful NP. The staff listened to my concerns and help me through any questions or concerns. I had a great place to start or transfer services.

Easy to schedule to make an urgent appointment . Efficient front staff. Faith and Dr Richard had wonderful bedside manner . Had 3 stitches put in for a laceration on the knee . Faith was extra helpful in making sure I didn’t pass out by bringing me a lollipop and cold water .

Arrived there at 340PM and asked if I could be helped and was denied. There was no other patients in the office and the front desk ladies looked at each other and smiled after saying they couldn't help.

The Wait time wasn’t bad, but didn’t feel like I received accurate information for the symptoms I was feeling. The gentleman that helped me was respectful and May have referred me to go to the hospital to be safer than sorry or he might of referred me to go to the hospital to get out of his hair I’m not sure because there wasn’t a sense of care. Here I am a few days later without going to the hospital and I feel great as new without feeling symptoms that I had felt a few days ago.

New to the area and haven’t found established care yet so when my son complained of an ear ache I kinda was freaking out. I knew we had to find an urgent care and I drive past this a few times a week. Now, I’ve heard mixed things about this place. Either people love it or don’t.I looked for appts this morning and there was 2 for this afternoon. I snagged one. Check in was fine. We did have to pay $144 upfront due to apparently not meeting our deductible. The nurse and dr Richard were both very kinda and sweet to my son. My son ended up having an ear infection so we got our scrip sent to our pharmacy and off we went. We would definitely consider again for our urgent care needs. Thanks for making appts. Nothing I hate more than sitting in a waiting room.

My daughter went in with a fractured foot. They took some X-rays, told her it was fractured and sent her on her way. I followed up with her primary care and they said she should have gotten a boot and FastMed said she declined one, which is not true. So now she's going to a real doctor and getting real care. Don't bother going here if you have a real concern. This is the second time we've been here and the first time wasn't any better. We will not be returning ever.

I showed up for an appointment, was forced to pay $200 before I was even seen. I then waited 30 minutes after my appointment before being seen. My doctor refused to do anything other than check my vitals, wouldn’t run a blood test even though my lymph nodes are swollen and wrote me some random prescription for antibiotics and couldn’t even tell me what was wrong with me. After he handed me my prescription, he left the door open and said “have a great day” and walked out as I was asking questions.

This office is wildly unprofessional and I would not go here for your health or wellness needs.I came here today with my daughter who had a case of pink eye. I ran a quick errand and returned. On my return they attempted to bar me from going in the back to sit with my children. The young lady at the reception desk was unprofessional and would not listen to anything I had to say. She proceeded to call the manager out who also acted extremely unprofessional and asked me to leave the building. The building my children were still in. I will not return and would urge others to do the same.I have emailed the regional director and will provide an update if they decide to be professional.

Arrived just after 5. Waited for nearly 15 minutes to check in and was told they aren't taking any more walk ins.... this news was followed by a cheeky giggle from the young girl at reception. Not cute. Not funny. A giggle is not appropriate. Also, why wouldn't you just announce that as people walked in instead of wasting everyone's time?

Visited today for my 5 year old who woke up with a very swollen, red and crusty eye. Arrived at 3:15 and was out of the office by 3:45 with a prescription for meds for pink eye. Very much appreciate how fast they were!

I was asked to post this review publicly by FastMed after responding with this same review in a survey. The healthcare professional refused to provide oxygenated nebulizer treatment to patient when requested when chief complaint was respiratory distress. Patient has asthma, history of respiratory infections and easily inflamed lungs and was sick with a fever and some type of virus which triggered respiratory distress. (Was not strep, covid or flu but he did not test for RSV) Healthcare provider then proceeded to misquote a study telling patient that a meterdose inhaler was just as effective as an oxygenated nebulizer. (The study actually was comparing room air nebulizers to meterdose inhalers). He acted like asking for oxygenated nebulizer was like asking for Percocet. He was dismissive, condescending and I felt like I had to fight tooth and nail to get a steroid shot. I'm still battling respiratory distress and will probably end up in the hospital just to get the oxygenated breathing treatment due to exacerbation of asthma brought on by this illness. I don't care what your patient's oxygen sat is at, if they have this kind of respiratory history inflammation and obvious wheezing, congestion and bronchiospasms, they will benefit more from an oxygenated breathing treatment PREVENTION IS THE BEST OPTION. Fix it BEFORE the numbers drop when the symptoms are there. Going to urgent care is expensive enough, having to also go to the ER means more bills that I cannot afford to pay because I dont have insurance. If he tells little old ladies in respiratory distress to go home and use their inhalers instead of treating them appropriately in the first place he could end up getting someone killed. I was told they had oxygen tanks and nebulizers and albuterol there is no reason to send a patient home in respiratory distress. I would not see him again come hell or high water. Continuing education needed.
