Went in for just a shampoo and was highly satisfied with the way AJ treated it, I was not expecting much with it being just a shampoo but she did an outstanding job and was so friendly and definitely brightened my day. I will be back to see AJ again just for the pleasant experience.

AJ was amazing, very talented, kind, caring, hard working. I appreciated everything she did by cutting my hair and shaving my face. Cannot complain about her at all because she is one of the most awesome hair stylist I could ask for. I'll have to rate AJ with 1 million stars and just want to add one last thing, she's definitely one of the best hair stylist ever.

Ask for AJ. She really does a great cut and has just the right touch for the face and scalp massage if you get the shampoo and hot towel after your cut

Lisa is amazing and a master at her craft. she cuts my hair as well as both my sons and always does a superb job. It was no surprise to see she is employee of the month. Give her a raise!!

Mallory is awesome! My son (9 y/o) loves her and always gets a great haircut from her! Love that we can pick her on the app (it took me a bit to realize you could choose your stylist) and get on the waitlist before even coming in. There are times the wait is long, but it’s nice you can check in without being there. I usually do some shopping or just plan to arrive at the suggested time.Service: Kids' cuts

My husband went in this store at 4:17 and signed in, and there was only one other person in front of him. He didn’t get put in a chair until 5:20! That’s over an hour later. There was only ONE worker in the store, and one came in a while later. If you don’t have enough staff to keep the store open and sufficiently ran, then don’t open. This is ridiculous. The workers were moving entirely slow and took forever to clean their station for the next customer.Service: Haircut

Let me start first off by saying I have NEVER written a bad review anywhere, I have worked in customer service my entire life, and I understand what a hard job it is. BUT after my terrible experience at the sports clips in Sanford, and then calling their corporate number and getting no answer, it needs to be addressed. I wish I could give zero stars.I live in Spring lake, but my husband works in Sanford, so I checked in online for my 6 year old son to get a haircut around 2:00. The website said it was a 39 minute wait. We got there about 2:20. When I walked in the blonde stylist(don’t know her name) asked if I had checked in online, I said yes, she instructed me to put my number in, so I did. My son and I waited, on the screen my son “was on deck”, then the blonde stylist went on lunch-no biggie I understand they have to eat. So we continued to wait, the only other stylist there was Amber. She cut another boys hair, and my son was “next on deck”. I spoke with the dad while we were waiting and he kept shaking his head bc he and his son had waited so long. I told this is a really long wait, and he told me “yeah my sons been checked in since 1:50, and it was after 3:00 before they brought him back. When she got done cleaning up she says to another customer waiting-(who got there after my son and I) to come on. I asked her “ma’am why are we still waiting my son is “on deck”. She said what is his name…I told her his name. She said “okay, I don’t see his name…did you put your number in when you came in?” I responded with “yes” she said I don’t see his name “I said ma’am his name has been there the whole time, and he was next on deck. She said I don’t see his name, sometimes our system knocks names off and we can’t find them, and he’ll have to be added to the bottom of the list. Of course he won’t be last, he’ll be next” but right is right. My son was on deck, so it should have been his turn. My 6 year old son sat there patiently for TWO HOURS. And he was SO good, and I kept telling “him honey you’re next, thank you for being so patient”…FOR TWO HOURS! if you’re a parent or ever dealt with kids that’s a LONG time for a 6 year old to wait. I’ll be completely transparent, by this point I was HIGHLY upset-like any customer would be, I told her “no, we’re leaving this is absolute BS” Ambers snarky response was “okay you have a good day baby girl”. Not once did she even try to make it right, she just added his name back to the BOTTOM of the list. I have been to SEVERAL sports clips, and there is always a wait which is understandable. The biggest issue is once I brought the issue to her attention she didn’t have an ounce of good customer service, or even apologize. Just added him to the bottom of the list, and had snarky comments. Should I have gotten upset, no, but I was very polite after waiting 2 hours, and continued to be polite until she completely disregarded the issue. It’s obviously an ongoing issue, as I’ve read in other reviews. Thankfully I’ve had great experiences at every other sports clips I’ve been to, but I’ll never return to the Sanford sports clips. Hopefully if this happens in the future to other customers they are shown much more respect.Service: Kids' cuts

Never see the same people twice. It's a gamble every time. Called it quits today when tried to get a lunch break haircut only to realize, as the only customer in the store, I'd need to wait for them to switch out marketing signage before they'd acknowledge anyone.

The lady who greatted me didn't want to be bothered with checking me she was rude the hairdresser that my two sons had was great good with detail picky boys said they would return because she took time to make it perfect

Checked in online then went in the store the lady said 40 mins and so we came back when we got the 15 min text. Went back my son was supposed to be next waited another 10 minutes however some other man who’s name was not even on the screen was took before my son because he got mad. He said he waited…well..So did I and taking him before my son was unprofessional. I won’t be back because this is actually twice they skipped over my son and him being next in line..Service: Kids' cuts

I go here all the time, but I have to shout out a couple of employees. First off, Lisa did the best work on my hair a couple of months ago. I have never had my high skin fade so perfectly done. Love her work, and will keep her on my list of stylists to use in the future!Secondly, shout out to Amber and Scotti today. I originally took my 2.5 year old toddler to get her bangs and hair trimmed. While Amber took her, Scotti asked if I needed my hair done as well. I was uncertain, as I didn't know if they would do it while my toddler had hers done and then waited. But they were both open to it, and were empty except for us. Once my toddler was finished, they let her sit in one of the chairs with her horses and gave her a lollipop. She was so well behaved and I was so pleased that they let her sit while I had my hair done. The thought really made my day and I won't forget that any time soon.Services: Kids' cuts

Great stylist, very professional and attentive to my haircut and the time they spent with me. Store was good, overall 0 complaints. Location and amenities, while good, were not what would bring me back. The customer service, again it was top notch, will bring me back.
