“Camp Merrie-Woode is truly a treasure. Both of my girls cherish their time there and count down the days until they can return each summer. They’ve spent many magical seasons under Old Bald and lovingly refer to it as “utopia.” The setting is breathtaking, but it’s the spirit of the camp that makes it unforgettable. The staff is professional, kind, and deeply invested in each camper’s growth. My daughters have learned so many skills—from outdoor adventure to leadership and confidence. Merrie-Woode has become a second home and a place of lifelong memories.”

“I found a kitten in the woods and took it to them...they took the kitty and so glad for there help and wonderful care of the cats and dogs they care for. I love it's a (no kill) shelter. The staff is great and I can't speak highly enough about them. I adopted (Chloe) from this shelter in 2007 and and unfortunately she's passed on but was a wonderful dog for many years. They gave her a great start in her life and sure soooo many other pets get the same wonderful treatment due to this wonderful organization.
Keep up the great work and thank you Cashiers/Highlands Humane Society for doing such great work.”

“We have been shopping at bizarre barn now for four years. We shopped at the previous location. Their latest location is the best. They have wonderful products. Wonderful furniture. Outstanding deals on rugs. Pictures galore. Skip who overseas everything as super manager is a terrific guy and will help you personally. My wife and I have bought many things from Bazarre Barn and we have never once been disappointed. Right now, I am sitting in a red leather desk chair that has been a gem in my office at home for about two years now. I bought it from Bazarre bar and remain grateful. Moreover all of their profits serve the communities and charities and meet deep needs. You just got to praise the Lord for this organization.”

“My wife and I visited this area to see a local festival in cashiers at this park the park had several nice structures made of wood that were very well done One of the buildings at the entrance had banisters made of natural shaped limbs which gave it a rustic interesting look there was a winding sidewalk in a large circle through the part that had vendors set up on either side and a couple of grassy open areas that had vendors around the edges very nice place”
