“Frank was one of THE best visits we had while visiting so the artists and shops. I think we spent about 40 minutes just talking to him and listening to his knowledge of the artists in the area, the history, and the area itself. His work is absolutely stunning.”

“They need to update their phone number. Other than that beautiful pottery!! One of my favorite parts of going to the NC State Fair each year is to see what beautiful pieces they are selling. Wonderful Christmas gifts!”

“This was our first stop in Seagove. I would highly recommend stopping here first, They have a crossection of the variety of potters in the area goods. We ended up buying some pieces of pottery at the gallery, After visiting the gallery, we decided which potters we wanted to visit in person. This paid off big time and we had a delightful visit to four of the potters that have their goods at the gallery.”

“Carolina Bronze Sculpture Garden is free to visit. When you drive up to the parking area there are some sculptures you will see. There are stairs that take you down to the garden. They recommend closed toe shoes as you will be walking on nature so grass, dirt and stones. The walk is peaceful and I heard frogs, birds and other wildlife as I walked from one sculpture to another admiring the art work. It was well thought out and nicely done. I will make sure to return the next time I am in that part of the state.”

“If this isn’t the oldest pottery in the area, then it’s not far off. The owner is a descendant and artist, gave us a great history lesson. Everything here is functional pottery and I got a baking dish that I love.”

“Unusual & interesting; a must see for anyone interested in unique pottery. This is not inexpensive pottery, it is a quality product turned with care & glazed & decorated with distinctive designs. Bulldog is not in Seagrove; it is down a nice country road [old hwy 220]. Worth the extra semi-short drive. :))”

“This is a must stop if you go to Seagrove. Ben Owen has an amazing studio with incredibly huge kilns. He was working on a pot on the wheel when we stopped by, super friendly. Beautiful work!”
