My young adult son and I stayed at this establishment for 2 nights. Jeremy and Jessica were very kind and welcoming! They went above and beyond- I had car issues and they arranged for someone to come check it out - on a Sunday! The room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our visit to Starworks and other pottery locations. The local Mexican food truck was good and the owners very kind. We liked seeing the dogs and cat! We sadly forgot to sign the guestbook but plan on returning! If I had any suggestions it would be to have a snack / folding table in room to use for food, a computer, putting on makeup or various other things. Also- since there are no real local eateries in the evening- maybe add snack options for sale - honor system ! Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

Stayed 3 nights. This is nothing like their website. Only one person , jeremy running the .place. He said his wife was out of town, which in a previous review from 2 months ago the owners replied to complaints saying it was because she was out of town which was unusual. I guess not that unusual. Jeremy is a very sweet man who is way in over his head. If the other owner is away they should have someone in to make.beds, clean, help etc. Although Jeremy was wonderful on asking about dietary issue and made me scrambled eggs and a sweet banana cherry dish. But that's its. No toast no potatos. Poor guy seems so unfamiliar with what his kitchen had. The second fay when I got a plate of scrambled eggs again, quite good, I asked If i could have toast and he wasn't sure if he had bread but then found some and made it for me which I appreciated. However the whole property outside is a shambles. Outside seating in yard all chairs etc fallen on on ground. Outside decoration on ground. Our room at first glance was so nice...until we walked around walls and medicine cabinet splattered in old toothpaste. someone mention the same thing in a review 2 months ago. The dust on furniture lamps headboard, mantel was beyond my comprehension..this is not a week or 2.of not getting done this is extreme neglect. We were the only guests the first night. The other 2 rooms on our floor were in shambles sheets blankets etc on floor. This was never made up until the night before we left because guests came for that room. We were told they did not make beds. Which isn't so bad but I have never not had bed service. He did however tell us to call him if we needed anything which we didn't because he was obviously in over his head that we did not want to burden him further. How do you go away and leave one person to handle a b and b without having a cleaning person come in. as stated the condition is definitely not due to wife being away (unexpectedly) this is long long time neglect. Never have I been to a B and B in this condition. Very very disappointed.Rooms: Terrible extreme neglect

Love having this as our annual ladies weekend bed and breakfast! The house is absolutely charming and clean. We hang out in the common room by the fire then play games in the dining room. Rooms are cozy and cute. Breakfast is delicious!

Our room was very dusty and dirty, more so then any hotel I have stayed in. We had a lady bug and stink bug infestation as well. Dust was thick on lampshades, ceiling fans and baseboards. Toothpast splatter on the walls surrounding bathroom sink. A/C unit was full of dust as well. Dead bugs and inches of dust in window sills. All was viewable to the naked eye. Coffee station on the second floor was not stocked with items to make coffee. Breakfast was served at 0900 and it was 30 minuets late, only on the first day. Which made us late. Food was good, but they served the same breakfast 2 out of 3 days of our stay. I just felt they were not ready for their guests. For the amount of money we spent for the experience of an B&B we were very disappionted. The location is great for adventures in town as well as neighboring towns. The owners were very nice and the hospitality was great. But when I pay $150.00 a night I don't feel like I should be staying in a very dusty room with any kind of bug. Or have to ask for all the standard ammenities that were listed on the website. If you have allergies you need to find some where else to stay. If you are allergic to cats, then you will not be able to enjoy the front porch, do to all the feral cats bugging you. The pictures on the websit must have been taken when they first became owners of this property, because it sure does not look like this in person. Neither the inside or outside. It could use a little care and maintenance. They did not offer a discount for the bug issue either.

Owners are new to B&B. Breakfast consisted of undercooked bacon and healthy grained waffles. Toilet seat was loose and annoying. Hot water lasted only long enough to soap your hair. Everything else was in cold water.

First time at a B&B and it was great. The new owners are very friendly and attentive. You can see they are investing in the property making lots of improvements. The room was great and was totally spotless.Coffee stations upstairs and down, the patio and living room were great places to relax at the end of the day and have a drink.Only took one photo of the breakfasts as they were fantastic and I ate them too fast.

Lovely property. Very quiet and clean . Plenty of hot water for a very relaxing shower The new hosts are awesome very welcoming. They were decorating for Christmas and it looked so festive. I had dental surgery so my food options were very limited She made delicious soft food options to accommodate my needs. I will stay there again. Thank you Jessica and Jeremy.

Coming from Colorado, we are used to great hospitality and wonderful ambiance. However, we were not prepared for the style and service the new owners offered to us on our recent trip to N.C. Jessica/Jeremy-keep it up! The grounds are lovely and the breakfast was to die for. They were wonderful hosts and I appreciated being able to talk about my beloved Chicago Bears with Jeremy. Such great people. We will definitely be back!

We were a young couple looking for a quick getaway before our wedding in October, and this place was so fun and beautiful! Our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was great! The host/hostess were sp nice and accommodating. Beautiful property and SO clean!!My only negative thing to say is the breakfast was not to my liking (I am a picky eater) and not very much of it....Fantastic place to stay!

Jessica and Jeremey were both very accommodating. My 14yr old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. The house was very clean and always had what we needed. The breakfasts were unique. We both enjoyed trying new foods which to me is part of the B&B experience. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next summer…if not sooner. Thank you
