This might be a great place to find antiques, but it is also a pet rescue. We walked through the door, and had to leave. The urine smell was extremely strong, and sickening. Dogs and cats were running through store. Great that these animals have a place to stay, but they should be kept separate from the anitque/flea market items.

Very nice people. I loved looking at the all the old stuff in both warehouses. If you are allergic to cats and dogs don't come. Their smell is all over the warehouse. I breathed through my mouth or through my hand lol.. but I pushed through because the place was so interesting!!

I LOVE this place. I can always find something. I especially love the fact that the owner loves animals. Wish more people would realize all that she does for them and make a donation. The place is a treasure❤️

There are so many antique treasures to be found, walking through there feels like traveling back in time. The owner is super sweet too. She also runs an animal rescue in the store, so there are dogs and kitties everywhere. They are all well-behaved and well taken care of. Great deals, great people, and cute animals.

Crazy huge place, lots to see. Tons of unique and unusual items. Prices were higher than I would have expected , closer to antique store prices. The biggest issue with the place is that there are cats and dogs literally running wild in the place and it reeks of urine.

The Cotton Mill is a large, older warehouse to visit for antique and vintage shopping. There are many booths of items to explore. Raylene is the owner and has a heart of gold. She runs a dog and cat rescue mission inside the building as well. Raylene and volunteers take good care of these animals giving them food, shelter and love. If you are considering adding a dog or cat to your family, you may wish to check with Raylene to see what she has available. I need to let you know that with the animals comes a somewhat unpleasant odor. I personally wear a mask when shopping there but most do not. Hope you find many treasures and perhaps a pet while shopping at the Cotton Mill!

They had wonderful items but the smell was atrocious! I am an animal lover but the ammonia smell was SO overpowering I could not shop.

I was so disappointed to see the condition of so many sick cats in this place. I wish I would have taken pictures to post .... i was too sad to even do that. More than 6 cats that I pet were skin and bones and 3 were laying in random spots lethargic. The entire place smells like urine, it's not a healthy environment to be in..... for anyone. The owner, while she means well- is a hoarder and her mental illness is effecting the care of these animals.

Stopped by on my way through town last week. It was on a Saturday and was raining but the store and the staff was quite warm and welcoming. The cats and dogs running around were so cute especially Maggy ( I thing that was her name, little black poodle ) They do very important work there with the animals, and I for one think they are amazing.I hope all of you the best and thank you and the volunteers for the wonderful time I spent there!!!

I want to love this place so much! Never in my life have I seen anything like this unique store. Unfortunately in this case, my sense of smell is strong and the smell was overwhelming to me. I was super disappointed that I had to leave. I'll still give it 4 stars because their mission is a beautiful one, the concept of the store is fascinating with all of the precious cats and dogs that are throughout the store, and there were some really neat treasures to be found! Definitely a great place to visit if you're into vintage and animals!

Nice place. Do not attempt to browse/shop if you do not like animals. This is also a pet shelter for rescued animals, they are everywhere, running freely throughout the building. They are not ferocious and are very friendly. I totally enjoyed my visit because of the animals?

I had such a wonderful time walking through this delightful shop! It is a huge warehouse packed with goodies. I love the junky feel, like a true treasure hunt, not curated but waiting to be discovered. The friendly cats walking around were an added bonus! As others have noted, there is an odor when you first walk in, but honestly the place is pretty clean for an animal shelter/shop.I spent some time chatting with the owner, Raylene. She is a treasure herself, with clear passion for the work she does with the animals she houses. She operates this store solely to help stray cats and dogs. All of the animals walking free have been spayed or neutered, of which Raylene pays for. All are free to adopt as well, although I would urge you to donate to her cause if you adopt an animal as her vet bills have to be insane.I was concerned about two cats I saw that didn't look the healthies, and Raylene was knowledgeable and quick to help me understand their ailments and that they are actually in as good of health as they can be, they just have special needs. All of the cats were so friendly, I loved petting them while I shopped around. This sweet special needs black cat followed me around and was meowing to me, becoming my little browsing companion! There are outside vendors that pay rent to the shop owner, but the proceeds of all items marked 'cat' go directly to the care and feeding of the animals. This is a shop I will return to again and again, as Raylene's clear passion for animals is what feeds her soul, and it brings me joy to help her help them.
