This location is closed and appears to have been closed for a long time. It was located in a most unusual place for a jewelry store. It was located near Boiling Springs, N.C. on Hwy 150 . Back in the 1970's this was a must stop at place for teenage boys to go and impress their girlfriends! At the height of Anthony's popularity this fine jewelry store was on the way to the All American City of Shelby, N.C. There was actually not much going on in my hometown at the time so on the weekends we'd all go there. Cruising in cars had been mostly stopped in Gaffney but in the All American City; car cruising was wide open! I always found Anthony's Jewelers to be a welcoming place. I'm sure the folks there knew that a bunch of impoverished teenagers weren't likely to buy anything! But they were always nice to us! This is just another memory of a bygone era. Places like this are missed!
