I brought my soon to be mother-in-law in today to rent a car after she had her first accident. There was a little confusion but it wasn’t at the fault of enterprise. Sam helped her with patience and compassion. He took extra time to show her how the push start worked and how to adjust the seats. He never rushed her or got agitated. We live in a world where good customer service is few and far between. Thank you Sam for being amazing today!

Dalton and his employees helped me out and made things right.. he didn’t have too but he did out of kindness which is why I rent from enterprise.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating. And checking in an out were great I must say I am shocked by the cost of insurance which used to be $10. And is now $24.00 per day. Octavia and Sam helped me in person and Dalton helped me on the phone

I got in an accident where someone totaled my car and needed a rental and these guys made it a hassle free process! Great, quick, and easy service! Kyle is an outstanding and friendly employee!

I have rented a car several times at the Shelby location, staff is very friendly and eager to help. They get you on your way quick. I refuse to deal with the Gastonia on Wilkinson Blvd location, they are rude and slow and not professional at all. Highly recommend the Shelby location even if it's a lil drive for ya, well worth it

These folks are definitely bottom dwellers. I had a reservation and when I arrived they told me they didn't have any vehicles to rent. Terrible customer service and seemed to be uncaring of the situation. I will not be back. There is a place up the road from them called Family Car Rental. Take your business there. They treat you like a business should.

Enterprise does good business until they tell you they dont have any cars until 3 days or a week later, which is what Gastonia and Shelby did to me today, July 31st. My car warranty company made the reservation but Enterprise didn't tell them they didn't have any cars. Enterprise has to do better with their customers. This is so very much unacceptable.

First off I am not sure that the branch deserves a low review.... however, the corporation as a whole does..It would seem that recieving a "confirmation email" does not actually confirm a vehicle. Then you are told to call individual branches as the main system has no way to chack availability. Then when you do call, the system patches you through to the corporate system and they lie to you saying they are at the local branch... then they confirm the car is available.... only to discover at the time of pick up that no one from the branch spoke to me and that there are no cars available..To make matters worse, when you call to complain you are met with more lies telling you that they will find you a car and deliver it to you..Ultimately we rented from Toyota of gastonia who price matched and was very plesent to work with!

I recently had to rent a vehicle for a couple days from my 'neighborhood' enterprise facility. The people are always very helpful at the Shelby, NC office and go above the typical customer service requirements. Dalton (the site Mgr) and his team, Sam, Octavia and CJ are consistent, always helpful and accommodating. I picked up my reservation on Saturday morning which has limited hours and staff scheduled due to altered weekend hours, and the staff made certain I had a transporter available to pick me up. I also like that I had not had to use their service in over a year, but the same employees are all still working there. Obviously, there is not a lot of over-turn with the staff. To me, this represents strong management and obviously a great work environment!Keep up the good work. I'll definitely return and more importantly, recommend the Enterprise Shelby, NC services to others.

Staff were great!!! The car was very clean and nice. If I had one complaint. Their definition of a mid size SUV and ours differ a smidge. We will rent from Enterprise again and we can recommend the Shelby NC store with every confidence that you will have a positive experience with this team.

Reserved a car 3 days before I needed it. Pickup was at 12. They called me at 8:15 the day of pickup to inform me they didn’t have a car available. I don’t think they understand what “reserved” means. Never again Enterprise, never again!!

I have rented 2 vehicles from this location this year. Both times was easy. Octavia helped me both times and was very helpful. And the last time when I returned the car I was helped by another young lady. She was also very amazing. ThanksJoe B

They where a life saver, Karly if I spelled her name right her and the rest of the staff did a great job taking care of me providing me with a great rental. While my car was in the bodyshop getting worked on, They where professional and friendly . And they also did a great job working with my insurance. And yes I will be back to do business with them again, My next step sometime in the future when I get ready to take a vacation trip, I plan to rent a vehicle from them again.And a spacial thanks to there driver for giving me a ride to the bodyshop to pick up my regular vehicle..And once again, when I'm ready to go on a vacation trip I'll get in touch with you guys, .And I look forward of doing business with them again. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would, so I'll give them a 5 star once again thanks for your help.

Sam and Dalton are on top of their customer service game. I had an odd request then had to cancel due to weather. The rental and cancellation were both handled smoothly and professionally. Thanks gentlemen! We will see you the next time to Shelby.

Quick update: Although a 'customer service rep' has the appearance of reaching out to me on this review I sent the information they were looking for to the address given and have gotten no response. It's for appearance only, this company does not follow up or make it right.The associate at the location was nice but that's where the compliments end. I rented a minivan in mid February to drive to Florida. The first part of the trip was fine but the last day it poured rain. That's when I found out the van did not have a functional windshield wiper fluid system. There was no ability to clear mud from the windshield other than to keep stopping and clearing it myself. The windshield wipers themselves were barely any help as they had been run dry and worn completely. They smeared water rather than clear it. This added many hours to my trip home and was miserable. When I contacted corporate I was told I would get $100 credited to my card. I accepted that and waited for my refund to show on my statement, which it didn't. I called them again, was told she'll fix it and get back to me. Almost 2 months later and no one has gotten back to me OR gave me the credit. That van was a hazard and dangerous to be giving out to customers and they don't care to fix any of these wrongs. I will not take my business here again
