This is the only bank I've ever known to flag a deposit as fraud. I had a sum of money being paid to my account and they blocked it. I could understand an outgoing transaction but a deposit? I have NEVER in my life heard of a bank doing that.

I want to tell my experience at my Bank, I take a check it has to clear to come back in 7 days. Came back and the branch manager says I can’t get any money due to an I.d issue but for the past 20 years I haven’t had any issue ever. She has no sympathy for elderly customers especially ones that have banked there for years and years. She is rude and has no desire to explain and or be nice. I have been with them since they were bb&t and I have never been treated the way I have here.

“Branch Leader” at this location is extremely rude. I as interested in opening an account but I’m glad I didn’t. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This bank is being managed by one of the most disgusting human beings I've ever met in my entire life. A former Marine is being treated like dirt while the manager and employees snicker and gossip under their breathe like school children. Absolutely reprehensible behavior. They refuse to help him even though he's been a customer for more than 20 years based solely on the actions of another person that he had no control of, I can assure you, everyone I speak to will hear about how Truist treats the most vulnerable members of our society and the former defenders of our nation. The branch manager in particular is orchestrating the defamation of a loyal customer and has somehow let the title of "Branch Manager" get to her head. 0 stars would be more accurate.

The audacity and childish behavior displayed by the branch manager was shocking. I have never seen someone let such little power go to their head like that in my life. I would recommend keeping your elderly parents away from this bank to avoid being bullied by this woman who strutted around the bank like she was a dog marking her territory. My favorite quote from her was when she told another employee "I've made an executive decision to make her wait for no reason.". She was openly trash talking a customer, played games with me instead of speaking to me.. then lied and said she didn't have her bosses number. You guys gave her too much power and you can tell the rest of the staff is done with her childishness as well. They were trying to take care of customers while she was parading around like a teenager with gossip. Shame on you for deciding to play games with and disrespect, a completely stranger.
Thankfully, I never have to see you again but your staff deserves better behavior from you. You are their boss and they have to apologize for you?

I have been with them for 9 years starting when they were BB&T. I have to say that the customer service was much better before they became Truist. I have placed two phone calls to them, one to my rep, Jennifer and one with a message to the general mail box because no one answered the phone. This has happened before. It’s been a couple of days and no return phone call. Are they really that busy?

No matter how many times I call I have to leave a VM. No one ever returns my calls . So thankful I don't bank with this bank but unfortunately my elderly aunt does it's ridiculous they never answer the phone.EditedStill waiting for that call back !!!

I use to enjoy coming into Truist Bank in Smithfield. However it’s not enough tellers nor bankers.Please get them help corporate! It’s really sad these long wait times.

I’ve had good experiences in the past, but feel something has changed recently? I’ve left messages now on two occasions asking for a banker to call me, as you can’t get anyone to answer the phone. No one returns my call. I’m going in to the branch tomorrow and see what is going on?

I went by the drive thru to get some money and since I didn't have my driver's license I was told to go in. I went in the bank with my check book, debit card and an expired license. I told the girl I left my current driver's license at my house. I come to this bank once a week. And I was still told they could give my any money because the driver's license could be a FAKE !!! She ended up giving me my money. I'm taking my money to another bank
