CVS - Smithfield - i have sat in the drive thru line to pick up a prescription for almost 50 mins. I pull up to the window and the girl puts a closed sign in the window and will not help you. Rude!!

CVS in Smithfield is horrible. The last 4 times I have had prescriptions filled I have had problems. The worst was when they gave me a 90 day supply of my meds and when I got home I discovered all three boxes were EXPIRED- some more than 6 months. When I returned them they didn't have any in stock that were not expired and I had to wait for them to order a new supply. Several times I went to pick up a common antibiotic and they never have it in stock and I end up having to drive to another CVS 20 miles away. The last time I had my doctor call to verify they had the meds in stock before she called it in. They assured her they did. After waiting 20 minutes they informed me they didn't have it. Another tlime they didn't have it and transferred it to another pharmacy 20 miles away only to get there and find out not only did they not transfer it but that pharmacy did not gave it either. I have used this pharmacy for many many years but it is time for me to go.

I've been sitting in line for almost 30 minutes while the line has not moved. Time to switch to Walgreens. Three cars behind me have left while waiting.

I was able to actually walk in for my flu vaccine.. I left Walgreens today, because the pharmacist stated that I would need an appointment for vaccine.. It took 20 minutes total time at CVS for my flu vaccine.. So convenient! THANKS CVS!

I transferred to Carroll Pharmacy because Carroll Pharmacy is a Family-run and locally owned business that has been serving Johnston County since 1977. They have 4 pharmacists, who have decades of proven experience, are dedicated to providing customers with services tailor-made to fit their needs. Whether it's prescription medication, over-the-counter products, vaccinations, photos, or even gifts, they are here to answer any and all questions that you may have.

This is the most screwed up store I’ve ever been to. Pharmacy didn’t have enough pills to fill my prescription. They told me it would be in in three days so I skipped a day to go back and still no pills. Again they told be it would be in three more days this time the Robo call told me it would be done last night. So I go back to and guess what? No pills and it will be three more days. We will see. I’m in constant pain and taken every spare pill I had. Right now it’s going to be 12 days. If you need your meds on time, try a different pharmacy.

Absolutely terrible service. 40 minutes in a line that NEVER moves. This CVS should NOT be allowed to offer testing because they only use one of their two drive thru lanes. People just wanting prescriptions have to wait ridiculously long periods. Either open the other line and get more staff or get the hell out of the testing business. This is s very poorly run Pharmacy.

While the staff is at perfunctory, at least it is open 24 hrs. The pharmacy is always swamped, you'll wait awhile no matter if you come in or go through drive up. And woe to the person that needs to call the location, you'll often be on hold more than an hour to reach someone to fill what they should have already filled. Unless they hang up on you unanswered. The convenience of 24 hrs really doesn't offset the sheer time you'll spend trying to convince them to fill your prescription. I don't know why this location has so many issues, but I hope they solve them soon.

I'm sitting in the drive-thru, and have been sitting here for over 40 minutes, waiting to take the COVID test I scheduled for 1 pm. It is now 1:40 pm. I don't know what is wrong with these people. I've taken a COVID test before. Takes two minutes, tops. Getting medication shouldn't take this damn long. WTF?

I wish I could give negative stars. This pharmacy used to be really good, but over the last couple of years, it has gone downhill in every possible way. I had surgery a couple of months ago, and the nurses in the hospital told us that CVS said my prescriptions were already ready. When we went to pick them up, we were told that they didn't know anything about them and to "give them thirty minutes." Thirty minutes turned into FIVE HOURS. Both the drive-through line and the inside line are always at least five deep. They almost never answer the phone. As you're standing in line, the message thing always repeats how many calls are waiting, and it's never below 6-10. I have currently been on hold with them for over two hours because they promised three prescriptions three days ago, and they are supposedly still "in process." This the LAST TIME I deal with this place. They've lost a years-long customer.

Lines are extremely long, very unorganized and unbelievably rude employees, pharmacists, and the manager takes up for his employees instead of seeing the truth and making moves to improve. Seriously hope this place shuts down. boxes piled to the ceiling and its a just a disaster in every aspect.

The pharmacy is the worst! Cannot answer the phone to see why my prescription that the doctor called in is not filled.
