I had a reservation at this office in Smithfield. They couldn't deliver and didn't seem to care. They don't help or solve problems, Their manager will try to add services that are not needed, I have never seen such disrespectful service anywhere else....

. Never have I ever had such a horrible customer service experience in my entire life. Mind you, there hasn’t been many! I’ve worked in customer service myself, and let me tell you these kind of wrongdoings are 100% unacceptable / the workers fault. I would write out the whole breakdown of everything, but it would be a novel. Essentially, they mis-scheduled me without even telling me. THANK GOD I called the day before they were supposed to pick me up (since for some reason they don’t send any email confirmations/ follow up emails or texts??? Like hello it’s 2024?) otherwise I would have been stranded. When I called the place the branch manager (Julia) gaslighted me saying “oh no you scheduled it for a different day” (which I would have never done in a million years). ANYWAYS, thus I had to cancel my plans to drop off my car for repairs period because my schedule is tight and when I book for a specific time, that’s the only time I can do it at. So, the next day I call again because I need more clarification on what happened. THEN, the branch manager said “oh actually they did mis-schedule you but we forgot to call to tell you” ??? So I was right then. NEXT, I say okay well can I schedule another reservation at least, she goes “um actually we terminated your reservation and cancelled everything entirely with your insurance so you have to call your adjuster if you need another reservation” ???? Why IN THE WORLD would they do that. Why would they think all of the sudden I don’t need a car anymore. Did they call me to ask and follow up with me before cancelling everything?? No. They did not. There’s way more to the story but let’s just say that everything ended with the branch manager LITERALLY HANGING UP ON THE PHONE WITH ME. I was speechless. Thanks Julia for nothing! They screwed me over more than once. More disastrous things happened with them even after this disaster. I genuinely cannot believe such an established could fail this bad.

Enterprise is the only rental company I have used in 20 years. Their service is always top notch. Imani and Tyler are always very easy and professional to deal with. Thank you Imani, Tyler and Enterprise!

Was on hold for over 25 min. There was no customers there and the employees were very lazy and just didn’t want to answer the phones. Sorry excuse for a buisness to have employees that don’t do their job. They literally just watched the phone ring bc they were about to get off.

Anytime I need to rent a car I make sure to come to this branch! I love the employees they are always so friendly. Imani and Tyler have great customer service and it’s always a pleasure speaking with Julie as well.

We rented from the Smithfield location yesterday and had a great experience. Julie was very professional and our rental process was quick and seamless. We called ahead and Julie had the car ready and waiting for us when we arrived.

Quite literally the worst Enterprise that I’ve ever stepped foot in. Left without a car, as we waited for 40 minutes and didn’t have time to wait longer.We have an Enterprise rental in our possession for about 10 months of the year, as we travel full time for work. This is probably the first time I’ve ever experienced an employee being dismissive and rude. (Locations all over this country normally have stellar customer service.) The employee was very resistant to us using one of our Platinum Member free upgrades, then left us to sit for another 30 minutes in the waiting room without acknowledgement of why we had to wait so long.We are and will remain brand loyal to Enterprise - however we will never ever return to this location.

I'll never come back to any location of Entreprise rental car because the Smithfield 's manager was very disrespectful and refuse to refund my deposit because I brought the on Saturday on 4:38pm instead 12pm. And she never told me to bring it before 12pm.

When we first booked with Enterprise, it was the Garner NC location. They didn't have a car for us. This was for our vacation! We would up going to the Smithfield location and had the pleasure of working with Martasia. She had us in a similar vehicle & out the door quickly. We needed a vehicle again on 10/11/23-10/14/23 and used the Smithfield office again because of Martasia. She remembered us, and again had us in and out quickly. However during our trip, on 10/13/23 the rental broke down. We were heading back home to NC and just minutes from getting onto I-95 during rush hour traffic. We were stranded on a 6 lane highway with luggage. The 800 number we called, was rude & horrible. The agent on the 800 number demanded that I take her off speaker phone or she would disconnect the call. I had her on speakerphone because 1 -I'm hard of hearing 2 - she was asking for info that was in my phone & made it so much easier to get. The 800 agent also told us we had to stay with car until tow truck arrived before we called Uber. We had an ETA from tow company of an hour. We were also able to track tow truck with an link provided to us. An hour later the link was telling us the tow truck was there, so we called Uber which arrived 15 minutes later but left because tow truck wasn't there. We called 800 number again, this time we were told we could leave the car and get an Uber airport. What they didn't tell us is that we could not get a replacement rental until tow truck arrived with broken down rental. At that point, we didn't get into replacement rental for 5.5 hours after breaking down. We were going to drive home, from Florida to NC but by that time, the fog was so thick we couldn't see. We had to get a room and stay overnight. I called Martasia in the morning on 10/14/23 and explained all that happened. I told her I was afraid we wouldn't be able to have the car back by the time her location, Smithfield NC, closed. She was so apologetic, sympathetic and empathetic. She remained calm & professional. Her calmness kept me calm. When we returned the vehicle, she again apologized. She made some adjustments to our bill. This woman is amazing!! She is definitely an asset to Enterprise and the reason why we will be returning customers! Also this review is being done under my mother's email address, which has her name attached to it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The guy that assisted me Tyler was great!! I reserved a full size Sudan, and was given a small car! No one called and when I called to let them know I would be about 45 minutes late, then the reserved time NOBODY mentioned this issue. I arrive and the manager tells me that’s the only car they have, not seeming to care. Since this was a last minute thing, I didn’t have time to go else where! I will NEVER return to this location!!! Car tires were wobbly, car had stains in the seats, bumper is able to pop on and off, ceilings in the car are dirty, not mats are inside the car. Car was overall the worst ever. This should not be happening, and is not acceptable.
