We opened a business checking, several savings for grandkids and saving with son. Dee was absolutely by far the best employee working for you. She just recently went above and beyond help that we needed on our savings. The rest of the staff is always friendly and very helpful as well.

Unbelievably bad bank. They will not open any business accounts that are registered in any other state. This is the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard. Awful, awful bank. Also, if you have a website, they will not open a bank account. You're not allowed to have a website. No online business whatsoever, so if you have a website, you will be declined for a bank account even if your company makes over 100 million per year. Absurd to the highest degree.

My wife and I were visiting our son (for his birthday) in the Smithfield area. I went into this bank to change two $20.00 and one $10.00 bill for a crisp, new $50.00 bill. The teller asked if I had an account with them. I explained that I was visiting (and the reason for the visit) and stated that I did not have an account with any bank in this area. They refused to exchange the cash I presented for a $50.00 bill since I was not a customer. All banks have only one thing to offer. That is service. To refuse to change legal U.S. currency (which is legal tender for all debts) for a different denomination of the same value is NOT service. As I left I informed them that if we move to this area, which is a distinct possibility, we will not open an account with this bank.

Each staff member is very friendly and willing to help! They all live, work, and worship in the local area! So thankful for a bank that is truly a LOCAL bank and helpful for small business owners!

To whom it may concern, I'm sure you all have your share of complaints, but this is NOT one. My wife and I bank at the Goldsboro location, and we have for probably 20 years. What few problems we have had, they have always been able to fix in a timely fashion. Dawn, Jennifer, Felicia, and Hannah always treat me like I have a lot of money in your bank, which I do not. They always have a smile on their face and the atmosphere is great . I enjoy banking at K S Bank.
