They suck! The manager is a lair. 5 days waiting for a delivery. The manager say's it will be today, nothing but lies. He is a good sales man for HOME DEPOT. Just spent 10 grand at home depot. There the manager has a lot of education on building products. Lowes manager does not know much, but a great lair. He cost me 3 grand this week. Can not run a business like this. This store is the worst and you can not even get help from the main office on the phone. Home Depot please come to Smithfield. Every contractor hates Lowes here. It is all about cheap labor and every one there who works there hates Lowes.

Smithfield location has gotten terrible 3 employees watch me load a cart while they were discussing politics I had a sling on taking my business elsewhere

The customer service desk is ALWAYS swamped. EDIT - not any more. Now they have a couple of people there at all times and they get through the people pretty quickly. Now get help in the rest of the store and you'll be golden!!

I was in the Smithfield location tonight and needed help with a shower filter. The sweetest man (I didn’t get his name but he had a slight injury to his leg) who saw I was struggling came by and worked With me on what to do. He not only helped me find the best idea for a solution but went even further to look up online how to make it better. He helped me so much and didn’t Make me feel stupid for the questions I was asking. As a female just starting out on her own at 44 he was helping me like a father would have helped. Thank You again! Btw…. Sir….. IT WORKED!!!!!

Extremely poor performance by assistant manager, Stephanie. Had a microwave delivered to my home. The microwave did not fit and was returned with the delivery person for a refund. I’ve never received the refund. The Lowe’s delivery warehouse claims ithey’re not responsible and that I should go to the local Lowe’s. I went to the local Lowe’s and spoke with Stephanie and she said unless I walk in with the microwave she can’t give a refund. The warehouse claims they don’t have it so I guess I’m out $400 for a microwave that I don’t have. I do have a $400.00 charge on my Lowe’s charge card !

If i could give them 0 stars i would. While I was there shopping I was falsely accused by the staff of being under the influence to the point where they called the police and embarrassed me in front of my family. Once the police arrived they determined that i was fine and there wasn't anything more done to embarrass me. I also bought a nail gun with a 1 year insurance plan, and after 5 months, the gun was not working properly. They would not replace the gun at all. Lowes Corporation said the one year warranty goes into effect after one year of purchase and also after the 5 year manufactured warranty is over. So after 5 and a half years, they would replace the nailgun. So, with all that being said between me and 6 offered me the money back for the insurance I paid for, and then they did not even send the right amount

I have been remodeling my house over the last six weeks, each time I go to this store there is an issue, long lines, can't find employees, something missing from the purchase. Typical issues in America, employees not engaged, overpriced, understaffed during busy hours.
