I would recommend using PODs. We moved long distance and POD made the move easy. We would up using 2 PODs and only 1 glass was broken and I blame myself for the pack job. The delivered the PODs on time. The drivers were great to work with.

We stored our belongings in two large PODS in their indoor storage facility for 9 months while our new home was being built - and we have nothing but great things to say about PODS! The whole process was so easy from scheduling the pod deliveries and pickups, the payments were automatic and very reasonable, the communication was great, and scheduling their delivery and pickup at the end was flawless. Our belongings were in the exact same condition as they were when the PODS were packed, the drivers were amazing and very skillfully put both large PODS in our driveway with no issues. I highly recommend using PODS for your next move!

Be specific about your expectations, but understand that the driver that calls you is NOT available nor do they care if there is an issue with the pickup or delivery.Customer service may issue a credit, but they will find a way to fee you in the exact amount that they have given a credit for resulting in a net zero credit. They will get that money, your satisfaction be da@$$*.Our angst stemmed from the 2nd rental when the drop-off to the house we were moving to was done. The driver was hours later than expected. When he made the drop, it was not where we asked it to be. It was blocking a 4 car driveway and 12 feet from the garage. 5 weeks prior, they successfully delivered to the same driveway in a position we needed.Insult was added to injury when it took almost 75 minutes to get a competent agent on the phone to remedy the problem. No accommodations could be made to their schedule for a week and we were issued a credit which they used to pay the driver for a return trip to fix his initial mistake. If that was what the credit was to be used for, it was not genuine to offer a credit like it was to help allay our frustration and the inconvenience of having to run everything from the moving van from the road versus our driveway.When they came to get the pod, I honestly didn't want to see their face or hear anything from them. Customer service was a joke as was the request of information on where to put the pod. When moving or orchestrating a move or just living in your home, having delivery personnel do their thing in deference to the home owners plan is annoying and in our case, added steps to our move that we did not need or ask for.I understand more than ever that in 2023, the disconnect between service you expect and what providers give you is a growing gulf. Who or what besides common sense can fill it is a question for companies, but we will not recommend PODS unless you need to grow patience or you favor inconsistent and lackluster service.

Great price but be careful who answers the phone. The drivers are awesome 2 staff members that assisted me did live near Tampa and were great and processional Ask every question possible Sometimes the person that answers the phone will not do what they say they will nor are they familiar with there own online system Also if there is a dollar amount that is in question, your dispute might not be handle in a compassionate way at all

I reserved and received my pod with no problems... However, trying to make changes to my pod was a nightmare. The first two times I called, I selected the option that would have support call me back. Both times they called me back, no one answered the phone. The third time I called, I decided to wait on hold. I was on hold off and on for a total of over an hour just to be told they couldn't make changes to my order. Also there were chickens very loudly making noises in the background??? When I challenged the notion they couldn't make changes (I said I was under the impression that they had plenty of notice of four days), the lady on the phone hung up on me.I understand if it is too late to make changes, but I felt like the call was handled unprofessionally and frankly I don't feel comfortable having PODS pick up my stuff after that phone call. If I can get a hold of someone who can explain to me when and where my pod is going and why I can't make changes I'll update my review.

Container was delivered over a week late. Every time I called for support there was over an hour wait. I moved from NH to NC and was told by a rep on 5/15 that my container would be in my driveway by 5/17. Received a message 5/16 saying there was an unexpected delay and that my container would now be arriving 5/23. When I called (and waited 2 hours to get someone) I found out my container wasn’t even in the correct state on 5/15 when I was promised delivery 2 days later. Escalated to a supervisor who opened a case for me to get compensation for my troubles (my wife and I had to buy a bed, countless DoorDash orders since we had zero cookware, and plenty of other things to live the now 9+ days without all of our things). Since that conversation I haven’t heard from the supervisor, or their comp team. It’s been over a week. Driver that picked up the empty container in my brand new driveway also left a massive tire streak while doing so. I wouldn’t recommend this service to my worst enemy.

I've been using PODS for almost a year. It's the best thing created and wish I've known of this service when I was moving around in the military. What love about this company is the services they provide. My POD is in a storage center and always available if I need it by just making a call. My only hiccup is not having the direct number of the storage center. I understand now why you have to go through customer service. Still five stars from me. Thanks again from this old soldier.

We need storage while having a house build. And we did not want the task of moving the whole house Furniture into a self storage and then turn around and reloaded in put it into the new house. And we used loader that Pods had on there web site. These guys knew what they was during. But most of all I did not hurt myself lifting . Thanks

I'm a USAA customer which gave me a good discount with PODS. The customer reps were always friendly and helpful, even during the unprecedented amount of people moving in 2020. It was by far the best and easiest part of my move!

PODS is a bit pricey for the amount of time that it takes to ship all your belongings. However it is something that can operate without you being present almost at all except to fill it and empty it. It is convenient but make sure to secure everything that is in your pod or cover things as the container will experience a lot of movement in transit.

Overall a great experience. Would have liked a bigger container, as 16 foot was adequate, but needed more space in the end.Would recommend PODS to anyone !
