Having the worst experience. 1st debit card never received. 2nd debit card 10 days and counting. My wife received hers in 6 days. Contacted the branch which was unhelpful and then contacted Truist directly for additional assistance of which all they could do is confirm that cards had been sent. While on the line they also told me that the the new account promotion credit was never added to my account so that's money that was never gonna show either. Absolutely the worst. Taking my business elsewhere.

This branch is a circus. I attempted to get a personal loan a few weeks ago, provided the financial info requested and then never got any response despite calling and emailing. This was not my first fiasco at this branch. Being such bad service was provided by the head banker, I decided to take my money elsewhere. Went in to see one of the bankers to close my account. Received a check for my withdrawal and thought that was the end. Nope, money was balanced at $0 but the acct was not deactivated. Result, overdraft fees.

As a former paralegal I will just stick to the FACTS. Here's what happened:1) I received a promotional post card offer from BB&T (Truist Bank). Please see scanned copy of the front and back of the post card offer that I received and read the details yourself. (once again, we're sticking to the FACTS.2) The offer on the postcard states that I must:a) open a new business accountb) 30 Days from the time that I have opened the new account there must be a minimum of $1500 in the account.c) Once that criteria is met (after 30 days) I would receive the $200 within 4 weeks after the initial 30 day period which I was required to have a minimum balance of $1500 by the 30 Day point from the time the new account was opened.CONCLUSION: I called Sneads Ferry Bank on 8/25/2021 (exactly 2 months after I originally opened the new business account and the banker there looked up the promotion on his system and read it to me verbatim. What he read was the exact same verbiage that was on the post card. The Banker (the person who manages that branch) told me that they did owe me a $200 credit. He told me that we would send an email to "The Promotions Department" to inform them in the event that it was somehow overlooked. He also told me that he would call me once he received a reply back from "The Promotions Department."The next day he called and informed me that "The Promotions Department" said that they have an additional 30 Days in addition to the initial 2 months that was printed on the post card (see post card).According to the banker this additional 30 day period was for them to determine if I met the requirements. ACCORDING TO THE POST CARD, THE 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE THE ACCOUNT WAS OPENED WAS THE PERIOD WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE THAT DETERMINATION.Now, if you look at the facts here, either the banker at the Sneads Ferry, NC branch is not being honest to me, or "The BB&T Promotions Department" as he calls it, is not being honest to either of us.As a result, I have filed a complaint with the NC Department of Justice Consumer Protection Department as well as the Better Business Bureau. Once I get the address for their AGENT for Service (So Legal Service can be served at the correct address and to the right person) I will be filing suit. Please read the facts, view the evidence (post card front and back) and make your own determination. This is not an attempt to slander BB&T or pursue any Bias. This is simply an attempt to correct a wrong while establishing some corporate accountability.

Worst drive thru. Always takes forever even with one car ahead takes at least 20 min. If a car gets behind you your trapped.

They were great when I moved to NC. I have no idea what changed, however customer service went down. Not only can you not get ahold of them or the main office but they were helpless in person. All I wanted to know is if they had a branch in TN. When I went in person, I know her name but I'm not going to disclose that said, "I don't know, Google it " really?!! That's no way to treat a customer.

I'm sitting here trying to get someone to answer the phone. Never mind having to wait the lines at this bank. Yes, a member died of covit months ago. I'm sure the others have been checked out. Our HOA has their business there and I'm recommending they leave. The phone call I was trying to get answered just just got hung up on and it rang 12 times. I have to have important paper work done.
