This hwy 172 DG location is by far the absolute Worst in customer satisfaction!! The Manager on duty is almost Always nowhere to be found when checkout is busy! The new employee is clearly struggling and stressing herself out because she has NO Help and a line of customers backed up into the aisles. The manager finally appears (on her cell phone scrolling social media or playing games it would appear) and had the Audacity to give her employee an Attitude because she needed assistance!!! Seriously!! That's your Job!! Self checkout NEVER works! I will Never give this location another penny, it does not even deserve 0 stars!! Ill go out of my way to the Other 2 locations BEFORE I ever use this location again!

Absolutely worst DG! I've lived near this store for 10 years and it has steadily gotten worse, poor customer service, always short staffed, standing in line for 20+ minutes with One cashier, clutter all over the store......Terrible store.

My son bought the wrong cards - meant to get Pokémon cards. Went to return item to the store where I was told that we would have to wait because the manager was on an hour lunch break. There was a brand new associate working the register. First day there with an absent manager. If you can’t run a store you shouldn’t take the position. The manager was literally five feet away! ?

Store smells nasty. Spoiled milk, onions, cigarettes . fridge section is not maintained, cleaned, food sitting out spoiling. Store was a mess, everything everywhere. Cashier was smoking at door.

The Dollar General on 172 in Sneads ferry is the worst. I don’t know who runs the store but they need to learn to order a truck because their inventory is very very slim ALWAYS. They never have anything I need
