Never answer the phone. How is an organization ran with so little regard for ppl who are without a place to lay their heads at. But finally when they do answer the phone never can truly help you. It seems to be that way in Moore and Cumberland counties anyway everywhere. But there are ppl who are in a crisis that needs immediate help. Need ppl who are actually willing to help.

When you call the phone number listed for salvation Army in Southern Pines it always says they're open but when you go there there's nobody in the office nobody returns your phone call and they're supposed to be there in a time of need. I wish they'd find somebody can run the office and be able to assist people when they need help

As an employee of The Salvation Army of Fayetteville, I am extremely excited about the work we see being accomplished in Moore County! Dana, the director of the Moore County Service Unit, is very competent and on top of her task to spread the word about the ways The Salvation Army can help those in need in Moore County. She wears many hats and finds ways to be successful and generate positive results in whatever she puts her hand to. I spent the day with her there a few months ago, and my heart was warmed by the compassion and dignity she showed to the clients who came in to request help with their utility bills, clothing assistance, or food. If you are in need in this community, please don't hesitate to call The Salvation Army. You'll leave with more than just financial aid; you'll leave with a friend.

Salvation Army is a great organization but this is NOT a thrift store OR a restaurant as the Google maps listing implies.
