I have went round and round with David, the pharmacist, simply because I have a pinched nerve in My lower back and this guy wants to pretend he's my Dr. Whom I saw today and prescribed something more for pain. David REFUSES to fill my prescription prescribed by my DR. UNTIL David speaks with someone at my Doctors office. For the 2nd Time!!! I will NEVER have another prescription filled here again after today!! I'm pretty sure my Doctor whose been seeing me for the past 2 years, graduated from Wake Forrest knows what he's doing and doesn't need to be 2nd guessed by a Pharmacist who knows NOTHING about me.!!

I went to the doctor who prescribed a pill to take 3 x's a day for 7 days, however supposedly the doctor only wrote 14 pills - 7 x 3 has always equaled 21 - why would the pharmacist not question this & contact the doctor??? So I just wasted 30 minutes on the phone between the pharmacy & doctor to hopefully correct this problem! Now also another trip to pick up the prescription!

Stopped there this morning to pick up a few things. Found three bottles of shampoo, regular $7.79 on clearance for $1.49, all three bottles neatly stocked on the shelf. Got to the register, they rang up $7.79. Went to find help and the store manager (I did not catch her name) came up, scanned them with her scanner. She then showed me the scanner that showed $7.79. I personally don't care what you scanner says. The only thing she said was that they must have been in the wrong place. You and your staff made that mistake, not me. Take responsibility for your mistake, honor the price and move on. She offered no explanation, no apology, literally nothing. She took them, walked away and proceeded to whisper to an employee close to us. With Walgreens less than 1/2 mile away, that's where we'll shop.If the customer service from the store manager herself is no better than that, you don't deserve even one star, but I don't get that option. Do better.

Convenient to access, good parking, the store is neat and clean inside and out. Relocated from Old Long Beach Road to the corner of Southport-Supply Road and (new) Long Beach Road. I found the store and pharmacy staff are friendly and helpful

The check-out girl, Darah, was very helpful and sweet. It's nice to have a friendly cashier. Thank you Darah for your assistance. Great store! ?

I usually don't leave reviews on things but good god this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy I've had in my life. For the love of everything holy, don't go here unless you absolutely HAVE to. The pharmacy I usually frequent doesn't carry the specific brand of medication that's covered by my insurance anymore, they only had the off-brand one which would've costed me almost six hundred dollars out of pocket. I was told to try CVS and see if they could fill the prescription instead. I called and explained exactly why I needed the specific brand. The woman on the phone said it should be fine so I sent a request to get it filled there. I waited a few days and got no confirmation that it was ready so I called again to ask. The man who picked up the phone spoke in a very curt manner but I kind of waved it off because maybe they were having a bad day? I don't know. He said it was ready and told me it was going to be two hundred fifty dollars. This confused me because I told them I needed this specific brand or it won't be covered by my insurance and I was told they could fill it. I asked why it would cost me money since it should be covered and I was told it wasn't. I asked if they could get the one I actually asked for and was told no immediately and I didn't think to question it so I just said thank you anyway and hung up. A half hour later I decided to go in person to find what the issue was and I guess the pharmacist took me saying thank you as I didn't need the prescription anymore so my name wasn't in the system for it and it was put back on the shelf which fine whatever, I can understand that. However when I tried asking the woman at the desk why it wasn't filled properly and if they actually had the prescription I asked if it was in stock or if they could order it (redundant I know but I wanted to make sure there was communication with the pharmacist about this since she was the first person I spoke to on the phone), the pharmacist interrupted me and spoke to me like I was stupid saying it wasn't approved by my insurance and it was already put back which I already knew. I wanted to know why I wasn't given the correct prescription despite calling ahead of time yet he continuously talked over me and yelled at me whenever I tried to get an explanation or solve the issue as if I didn't know what I was talking about. He said they can't order my medication not even giving a reason why and I ended up getting so frustrated I left without a refill and I was fuming. I get being understaffed is stressful and that me coming in was a bit inconvenient but that was abhorrently rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, and a complete waste of time. I won't be returning, though the pharmacist seemed like he was glad to see me leave anyway so that shouldn't be an issue with him!

I’ve only used this pharmacy for a few months now and they’re good at keeping up with prescriptions and not losing them like my last pharmacy, but every time I call them the pharmacist always sounds lethargic like they don’t want to do what they’re doing. I know jobs are exhausting, but a tired attitude can mess up a reputation. UPDATE ON EXPERIENCE: My Vitamin B is low, and my doctor sent in a prescription for supplements. The pharmacist didn’t pack any for me because I could just buy it over the counter (without a prescription). Yet, they sent Vitamin D supplements which don’t need an RX either. Why would you skip over anything prescribed by a doctor just because you can buy it over the counter!?

The staff there has always gone out of their way for me. I am there at least every other week and always get treated great. I don't know what the negative reviews are about.

CVS used to be my preferred place for photo printing. This week I went there to print photos but the ribbon was out on the printer and the only one who knew how to fix it was Henry and he wouldn’t be there until 5pm. So I went home and submitted my order online after 5pm. I got a text saying my prints were ready but when I got there at 8pm (posted close time is 9) they had put a sign on the door and closed. I finally was able to pick my pics up 2 days later and the colors look horrible. The white shirts look as blue as the jeans. I will have to reprint these pics. I think I will find a different place for photos.

Very poor service at the pharmacy. My most recent visit was 8/20 at approximately 5:30pm. There were two people at the drive thru and one at the in store counter. The person in the store was making calls and ignored me for about 5 minutes then yelled she would be right with me. After about ten minutes I said something and she yelled at me again. Finally the pharmacist came over and waited on me.They are always slow and rude in there. This was not the first time I’ve encountered this behavior. It’s usually the same person too. They can’t even get my address and phone number correct.

I’ve been a frequent customer at this CVS and never had an issue till today. I was being rung up and a pharmacist named Samantha came up and stopped the pharmacy tech and denied my prescription. Samantha berated me, was rude to me, and denied me my medication because it was one day early for pick up despite doctor approval. She said it’s a CVS policy but the customer service representative said it is not, my doctor has never heard of it, and I have never heard of it as a life long CVS customer. Additionally, she called the cops on me and had police escort me out because I was crying. She demanded I calm down as she was denying my medication that is specifically for calming down. A bit ironic. I can see my review is not the only one mentioning Samantha being outright awful to customers. Hopefully karma comes back for Samantha because I certainly won’t be coming back.

One of the most bustling pharmacies, for its small size, that I’ve been to. I’ve had to wait in line to ask questions and pick up prescriptions. Yes, the lines inside and outside are long but perhaps the negative reviews have more to do with the local population explosion, and retired age of the impatient, along with a corporate CVS needing to hire more pharmacists than this one has because the MANY people working behind the counter stay constantly busy - focused their work. Nearly went to another pharmacy for my mother’s Rx after reading these negative reviews but am glad I stayed with this one. They deserve better comments. I’ve had professional and efficient interactions every time.
