About Riverside Motel
The Riverside Motel is a nice, cozy, and clean local family-owned property in the heart of Southport. It offers great value with very reasonable rates and comfortable rooms. The riverfront rooms are spectacular, featuring wonderful water views, private porches with swings and chairs, and are just steps from the river. The view is wonderful for watching ships, sunsets, and the Oak Island Lighthouse. The location is excellent, with everything in Southport walkable from the motel, including plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the check-in and check-out process is a breeze. It is a very relaxing place to stay, providing privacy and the necessities for a lovely getaway. Guests agree it is a great place to stay and hope to return.

We loved our stay at the riverside motel. The rooms were very clean. Great location within walking distance to restaurant and shops. Easy check in process and absolutely love the water views. We originally booked a street view room and were upgraded :) we were so thankful for that. We will be back!
