The NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures is a must go located off exit 79 on I-85 in Spencer. It is a large and magical storehouse of treasures, growing all the time. The exceptional and fantastic collection features precious dolls from all ages, fun trains and planes, and many unique, amazingly crafted miniatures and structures. Every piece is a joy to behold, with some having very interesting histories. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and full of history, happy to share secrets or run the train. It is an absolute delight where visitors find a memory at every turn.
A charming small museum with a wonderful variety of dolls and doll houses. Also a variety of other toys to view. The staff are wonderfully polite and fully engaged with the museum. A perfect little visit while in Spencer.

Really lovely museum and the staff was so kind and knowledgeable. They were very sweet to our rambunctious toddler and everything in the shop was reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the Barbie collection! We will be back.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this place. It's amazing how many dolls they had and all the different types. The doll houses were very cool and detailed. We avoided the train area. The hostess was wonderful, and all in all it was a great experience!
