Going through town today, the oil light in my vehicle came on. As it was also time for my next oil change, I decided to go to Strickland Brothers and have them change my oil.

Within a minute of driving up, I was so blown away by the service that they gave. Lights were checked to make sure they were working. The air pressure in the tires was also checked and I had one that was very very slack.

When they got under there I was a court load on oil and I had a bad oil leak. Ask me if I wanted something put in to make the oil leak slow down. And when I crank it up the last time, oh it's pouring all out. But it did get me home.

I was just totally totally impressed by the Strickland Brothers services. They were all very very friendly and listen to me talk cuz I don't get off the farm much. So I will talk your ears off. I give Strickland Brothers a grade of an A+++.

They have gone out of their way to look for ‘squeeking’ sounds or whatever problems I have without charge sometimes. I’m always greeted by my first name and remembered. “10/10 customer service. I thank God for Marc, he was super helpful, kind and patient with us the entire process of getting the car together. During the early part of my trip to NC my husband’s car got messed up and we weren’t able to drive it for the week. Once that issue was resolved, I picked up the car and was about to head home (which was a 10hr drive). I called the shop and Marc told me to bring the car back even after they were technically closed for the day so they could take another look at it. He accommodated and clearly explained that I wouldn’t have even made it out of NC with the engine overheating. After taking another look the water pump and some belts were causing the issue. He quickly started ordering all the parts that same day so that it wouldn’t delay us another day and everything would be ready for him to work on the car the next day.

Also my family and I were stuck at the shop because we got a ride from a friend. Marc connected us to Mr. Boopie who drove us back to where we were staying. Marc was even kind enough to let my kids and I wait inside the store with him temporarily while we waited for our ride. All in all, Marc is what made this experience a good one despite our car breaking down. I truly appreciate his professionalism, kindness, patience and that he went above and beyond to help serve us. He is a great dude! The kindness that he showed me i’ve never gotten from another mechanic or auto shop. If you’re in Rutherfordton, NC PLEASE go to Cowan Tire you won’t be disappointed.”
