“My two children have been attending TLE-Stallings for a total of two years combined. This review is long overdue, and I’m finally making time— because I absolutely love it here. I’m very meticulous and observant when it comes to childcare, and TLE is a 5 star facility. It’s very bright and clean. My children are so happy and are learning so much. The staff are amazing. Sue, Nikki, and Hailey are so awesome, helpful, & kind. My 2 year old loves Jessica and Sandra. My one year old loved Lisa and Sarena and has now moved up to a new class. His new class has the same teacher my other son had named Nicole, who is terrific. Shakiya was exceptional when my child was an infant. Also, there’s a kind girl named Zaria whom my children adore. The whole staff is amazing, including the chef. If I could name everyone, I would but my review is already long. Enroll your child, and you won’t regret it. :-)”

“Our daughter has been going to TLE Waxhaw since just 2 months old, and we’ve had such a great experience with the entire team. We’ve loved every teacher: Ms. Letresia and Ms. Lisa in Infant A, Ms. Inna in Infant B, and Ms. Lauren in Toddler A have all been amazing. They’ve been so kind, warm, and truly care about the kids. You know your child is in good hands when you can still stop by the Infant rooms just to give hugs to previous teachers.

There are other teachers I haven’t gotten to know as closely since my husband and I alternate drop off and pick up, but we’ve had nothing but positive experiences with everyone here. Every time we pull into the parking lot in the morning, all I can hear is clapping and giggling! That speaks volumes.

We’ve also seen how much they help with development—from first steps to reading, art, playing outside—you name it. And anytime we’ve had a question or small concern, they’ve listened and followed through in a way that makes you feel really supported as a parent.

“Cadence Academy along with Gloria, Ariel and teachers have been pivotal in providing outstanding care to our girls. They have learned so much during their time there and have had such loving teachers who truly care about their development and well being. We were always provided with regular updates and photos throughout the day and our girls were always coming home with art projects and fun stories about what they learned. they were so excited to share the happenings of their day and I was consistently impressed with what they were doing. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested they truly care about the children and their family”

“This daycare has done wonderful things for my three year old. She began speaking more often and louder within a week of starting here. Her level of independence is skyrocketing. They spend individualized timing getting to know each student and tailoring curriculum to support areas of growth. In addition, they have video streaming so you can check in on your child throughout the day. Daycares in Charlotte are expensive, Kids R Kids offers competitive pricing and we feel like we get A LOT for it. We highly recommend this center!

“My daughter just started attending this preschool and I could not be happier. The staff is amazing and my daughter loves it already. She’s excited to go every morning. I love that they keep class sizes small and really take the time to personally get to know the kids. I also love that they make cleanliness a priority and they have a wonderful open door policy (when covid restrictions are not in place). I can watch the camera anytime and I get notes about my daughters day everyday. Very highly recommend!”

“I am a picky helicopter parent. I’ll admit it! We tried four different highly rated daycares in the Ballantyne area, but never felt like our son was truly cared for. Not until we found Rachel and her staff at Ballancrest Academy.Family like cultureRachel takes care of the staff and creates a family like culture. The teachers are happy, passionate and committed. There is very low turnover. And because of that, staff truly got to know my son and treated him as an individual. So many emotions from teachers on graduation day since many of them, like Ms Margaret, Ms Zoi, Ms Kristy, etc had watched them grow from infants to kindergartners. (Ps. You all did a great job making graduation a special day for parents. Thank you!!)NutritionChef Robin curates balanced and thoughtful meals that are healthy, packed full of fresh veggies/fruit but also delicious. Often, I copied the menu for my own lunch ideas! One chilly morning, I commented on how wonderful lunch smelled. Chicken noodle soup and oranges. Chef Robin said she wanted to make sure the kids were getting extra immune fighting ingredients, just like her mother used to do for them growing up. So sweet.EducationWith a background in education, Rachel was focused on making sure our son was prepared for kindergarten. In fact, he knew how to spell his first/last name better in preK and back tracked a bit in actual kindergarten! Rachel organized several partners to come in regularly - like music man, Spanish, or go fit kids - as well as guests - like local dentists, doctors, fire department, etc. They prioritized outdoor time, often having lessons on the playground. I love the “experiments” they created to support hands on learning - like “sink or float”.Last, it’s just fun. My son loved going to school every day. Which made dropping him off that much easier.If you too are a picky helicopter parent looking for an organized and caring staff committed to the health, education and development of your child, HIGHLY recommend Ballancrest.”

“I have to give 5 stars to the entire staff right now.Octavia is just AMAZING!About 6 months ago I was helping my daughter to look for a new daycare for my grand babies. I'm so happy we were patient & it didn't work out. Not even a month later the entire old staff is gone, the whole feel has changed. The teachers are smiling & speaking to parents, welcoming the kids at the door (no crying from either child) feels so good to head to work knowing they're good.Next the stop the office, every morning there's a snack at the desk for us (which I love). My daughter has been with Kinder care since she was 5 months and now she’s 1 years old I was so surprised when she didn’t even cry when handing her over to the the teachers. She is loved by all. “My toddler has been enrolled here for upwards of 6 months now, and I cannot express enough how much comfort and confidence I have in this school and their teachers.Coming from another daycare, I see how much more inviting and accommodating the staff is at Sunshine House. My son adjusted to this school quickly, whereas he never adjusted to his former daycare. He learns new words, sign language, and eats a greater variety of foods since being at SH, his former and current teachers are clearly loving and know my son’s personality, likes/dislikes.The classrooms are clean, we get regular updates and photos/videos of our child, and updates whenever accidents happen. I would happily leave my son enrolled here from Toddler-Pre-K and beyond. Fully recommend this school and thankful for the wonderful staff and the care they provide.”
