Needed one item tonight about 15 minutes before the closing time posted on the door and website (I made sure to check before arriving). Employee saw me walking up to the door, locked it, and scurried away, closing the store early.

Do not go anywhere near this pharmacy! Walgreens has gone way downhill. Trying to refill a prescription has become a nightmare with them. I strongly recommend that you do not use their automated online service either. When one pharmacy is out of stock, they offer you the “ Convenience” Of transferring the prescription to another Walgreens location. However, what they neglected to tell me is that the transfer will close out my prescription without refilling it and offer no recourse to rectify the situation. They tried to blame me and say it was because I transferred it from one location that was out of stock to another. This is the most ridiculous absurd excuse I have ever heard. Why offer the option to transfer it then?So now I need to ask my provider to rush through another prescription in order to have it on time before upcoming vacation travel. I will never use Walgreens again, and we are in the process of transferring all of our family’s prescriptions to a more reputable pharmacy. This example was one of many incompetencies and was the final straw.

Staff is rude, pretty much questioning why you are even in the store the minute you step in. FedEx drop-off shows them as able to scan barcode for returns but they either do not have that ability or were too lazy to actually do it. Went to Walgreens near downtown Matthews and had zero issues.

Not sure why the low rating but after switching from CVS Siskey I've had a great experience. Just today, Dawn and Dr Preshon in the pharmacy provided excellent customer service. Super impressed when the Pharmacist called me back directly. As a Nurse Practitioner for 11 years and recent cancer survivor (Jan. 8), I'm taking time to focus on more good in the world, Thank you Walgreens Potters Rd!

No wonder there are no customers. A lady with a cavalier attitude behind the counter told me my prescription would be ready in 1, maybe 2 or more hours. It was a take it off the shelf and put a label on it kind of prescription and they had had it for hours already. They were not busy either. So I came back in 1.5 hours and she bothered herself enough to talk to the pharmacist who said I can get this over the counter. I asked why didnt you tell me that 1.5 hours ago and I wouldnt have made a second trip. She lit up with an evil grin and said "I didnt know it then". The pharmacist was peering out from his cubbyhole at me like "so whatcha gonna do"? Not one other customer was there and I can see why. That is my last time to give that Walgreens any business at all. Back to CVS I go.

Stay away from the Pill Czar! The male pharmacist had to be called by my doctor and my doctor had to explain to him that some months have 31 days and you have to count the date dispensed as day 1. The pharmacist was hijacking my prescription for 32 days. Take his control away like I did. Do NOT FILL PRESCRIPTIONS HERE!

The pharmacy is amazing! They are always so helpful.. especially Cindy! Cindy really helped out when my son ran out of medication while on vacation! I can't say enough good things about this pharmacy!
